9 Ref Spec Sec #064023: Is it a requirement that Millwork

Subcontractor be registered as AWI?

AWI is to be followed for material and installation procedures. Subcontractors not required to be registered.

10 We have concerns about the phasing dates: P-1A & P-1B: Will the new fixtures arrive in time to turn that phase over? Also, in conjunction with PH: 4A, & 7 – It looks like 6-Months of work, at minimum.

The ultimate design wind speed is 120 MPH. Hurricane Wind Borne Debris regions are only required when the wind speed exceeds 140 MPH so no doors or glazing need to be hurricane rated.

41 Sheet E-501, Keyed Note #2: If the existing feeder conduits are appropriately sized, can these be reused?

42 Electrical Lighting Sheets. In the Base Bid much of the lighting is to remain as is, no removal required and ceiling is not called to be removed or replaced. In several of these areas the existing HVAC duct work is being replaced which would require ceiling grid and lighting to be removed and replaced. This is not specified on the electrical drawings.

This was determined to be means and methods for the contractor to coordinate.

43 Are the CCTV, CATV, Security, Access Control and Data/Structured Cabling systems, both new and demolition of the existing, being provided by the Owner?

Are the elevations below fairly representative of the true scope of entrance paint?

The extent of the exterior paint scope is identified on the elevations on A-201. All areas not identified with a diagonal hatch “no work this area” is to be painted.
