) Fill the Last night, while I was doing my homework, Angela called. She said she was calling me on her cell phone from her biology classroom at UCLA. I asked her if she was waiting for class, but she said that the professor was at the front of the hall lecturing while she was talking to me. I couldn't believe she was making a phone call during the lecture. I asked what was going on.

She said her biology professor was so boring that several of the students were actually sleeping in class. Some of the students were talking about their plans for the weekend and the student next to her was drawing a picture of a horse. When Angela told me she was not satisfied with the class, I mentioned that my biology professor was quite good and suggested that she switch to my class.

While we were talking, I heard her professor yell, "Miss, are you making a phone call?" Suddenly, the line went dead. I hung up the phone and went to the kitchen to make dinner. As I was cutting vegetables for a salad, the phone rang once again. It was Angela, but this time she wasn't sitting in class.

James Ellis went on a business trip last week. He was visiting some customers in Frankfurt.

At the airport, he bought a newspaper and went to get a coffee.

He was drinking his coffee when he saw an old friend, Bob.

Bob! What are you doing in London?

Bob was in London because he was starting a new job in the city.

I’m at the airport now.

"Would all passengers for the 9.30 flight to Frankfurt please go to boarding gate 10".

When they were speaking they heard an announcement.

James said goodbye to Bob and as they were leaving (leave) Bob gave him his business card and asked him to phone when he returned from Frankfurt.

Have a nice trip

Good bye

After boarding James put his briefcase in the overhead locker and sat down.

During the flight, James did some paper work and spoke to the woman sitting next to him, while they were speaking the flight attendant brought breakfast. When the plane landed in Frankfurt, it was almost 11 o'clock.

I think we have just arrived in Frankfurt

James took a train to his hotel. Then he walked to the customer's office. He got there at 1.00 pm and went to the reception desk. The receptionist asked him to wait.

While he was waiting she offered him a drink.

When Bob got to his hotel at 7 o'clock that night, he phoned his wife and then went to the hotel restaurant.

He and his customer talked all afternoon.

When are you coming back?

Finally James returned to London
