WELCOME TO HI-TEC OILS TOOWOOMBA SPEEDWAY Ultimate Pink Night is back! On behalf of the entire team at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway, welcome back for arguably one of our coolest events of the season. This season we are here to continue the fight against Breast Cancer. This season we’ve teamed up with the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation to raise much needed funds to BreastScreen Queensland Toowoomba Service. Our goal is $10,000 and with everyone’s help, I’m sure we can get there. The best part about this fundraiser is that every single dollar we raise stays right here in Toowoomba, so please help us out if you can. We have so many wonderful auction items down in the Fanzone to bid on during the silent auction and of course you can make a tax-deductible donation via the online page we’ve set up with the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation. Massive thanks to everyone that donated prizes for the auction and to those people who’ve already donated. You all rock! A couple of weeks ago, we witnessed a crazy and captivating night of Speedway that kept us entertained all night. The battle in the final stages between Lachlan McHugh, Jock Goodyer and Luke Oldfield was simply brilliant and although he led almost every lap of the Sprintcar feature race, McHugh failed to finish after cutting down a right rear on the final lap. This resulted in Oldfield and Goodyer getting together that saw Oldfield knock the front end of the Q17 allowing Goodyer to go on to capture his second win in succession ahead of Ryan McNamara and Cody Maroske, Nic Whell and Taylor Prosser (the hardcharger) who came from 20th position. So after winning the opening two rounds of the Ultimate Sprintcar Championship, it’s no surprises to see Tasmanian Jock Goodyer holding a 20 point lead in the series. Ryan MacNamara is second currently ahead of Cody Maroske, Nic Whell and Lockie McHugh. Luke Oldfield is 38 points behind the leader in sixth position ahead of Karl Hoffmans, Brett Minett, Ben Atkinson and Tim Farrell rounding out the top 10. The Midgets continued their remarkable season in Toowoomba with another entertaining night of racing. Rusty Whittaker captured the win a couple of weeks ago ahead of Scotty Farmer and Brendan Palmer. 17 drivers are set to go around, and can Rusty Whittaker make it two in a row, or will Michael Kendall, Charlie Brown, Scotty Farmer or Brock Dean capture a win on Pink Night? A massive field of 45 Modified Sedans have assembled for the second round of the Pacific Petroleum Smackdown Series that doubles as the Pro1 Race Parts Pink Night Shootout. This will be the final hitout on the venue before the Queensland Title on 27 December and then the T-Bar Nationals on 14 & 15 January. Round 1 winner Shane Macdonald will take on some of the best drivers around including Queensland Champion Josh Crang, former national champions Aidan Raymont, Max Clarke, Brett Baxter & Greg Worling along with a whole host of others. Making up the action-packed program is a field of 23 Modlites for round 2 of the Dondex Extreme Series. Our team continues to be focused on providing all our fans with an entertaining and exciting show. TOOWOOMBA SPEEDWAY VENUE INFORMATION

IMPORTANT NOTICE Ticket and credential holders are reminded that Speedway Racing is dangerous, and accident can happen. All care is taken to protect you, but you are warned that there is a possibility of an accident-causing injury, death, or property damage. By the issue of this ticket or credential to you, you hereby acknowledge that the entry to the speedway grounds has a degree of danger and the promoter, clubs, corporations, organisations, and persons having any connection with the promoting, organising and conduct of the event shall have no liability except with regard to any rights you have arising under the Trade Practices Act 1974. Vehicles are permitted to enter and park on the condition that the owners and the occupiers of the facility are not under any liability whether contract or in tort and whether for negligence or as an occupier or on any other basis or for any cause of action, for loss of or damage to, the vehicle or its contents no matter how or where such may be caused. FOOD There are several food and drink outlets situated surrounding the track. A wide variety of hot and cold food is available for purchase, as well as hot and cold drinks. ALCOHOL Toowoomba Speedway is strictly a NO B.Y.O. track. Management and security reserve the right upon entrance to the venue to inspect bags, eskies or containers for the presence of alcohol. Alcohol is available for purchase at the “Legends Bar” which is located in turn two. Please consume alcohol in the designed areas only as this is a family friendly venue. RESTROOM FACILITIES Men’s, Ladies and Disabled toilet facilities are available in both the pits and the public areas. They are regularly cleaned throughout each event, but please let our staff know if they need attention. SMOKING AREAS By law, smoking is only permitted in the three designated smoking areas in the venue. No food or beverage can be consumed in these areas. Security will enforce this law and non-compliance will be met with forced removal from the venue. Please co-operate to make Hi-Tec Oils Speedway a family friendly venue. Smoking areas are located behind the spectator mound in turn 3 (near to the toilet block), at the bottom of the concrete walk away at the bottom of turn 2 and next to the main grandstand in turn 1. PIT AREA RESTRICTION Unfortunately, we must restrict access to the pits unless you have a “pit pass”. We welcome you to look at the cars and talk to the drivers after the race meeting, but we must ask that you refrain from this area during the race meeting. Dress code for the pit area requires that closed shoes must be worn. If you want to gain access to the pits during a race meeting, you can purchase a “Pit Entry Pass” from the Pit gates for only $20.00. You must be over 16 years of age to upgrade to a Pit Entry Pass. The Pit Area is an alcohol-free zone at all times. We welcome you to come down to the pits for free, after the meeting has finished, to get your favourite drivers autograph!


EVENT CANCELLATION (RAINOUT) A RAINOUT IS DEFINED AS FIVE (5) EVENTS OR LESS BEING SUCCESSFULLY DECLARED COMPLETED. In the event of a declared rainout or for any other mechanical or electrical malfunctions or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond the promoter’s control, Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway will honour rainchecks, but will not refund any money under any circumstance. If you have pre-purchased tickets online, and we have to cancel the event prior to the commencement of racing, we will offer a refund or an exchange of tickets to another event. Your numbered ticket stub is your raincheck. Hold all original tickets. No replacements will be given for lost, or tampered tickets. Rainchecks will be honoured at any one (1) event (of equal or lesser value, not higher priced) at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway in the same racing season. Not transferable to future seasons. How to use a Rain Out ticket:

1. Choose an ‘equal or lesser priced’ event, from our current season calendar. 2. Present your ticket to the cashier at the gate 3. The cashier will check your number ticket stub for validity 4. If valid, you will be provided with a new ticket to enter the event.

BOB BAKER’S ENCOURGEMENT LUCKY DRAW

Bob Baker will donate up to $1,000 if 20 cars start the feature race. If only 16 to 19 cars start the feature the prize will be $500. This prize is on top of normal prize money paid on the night and is paid to the car owner. The winner is done by random draw prior the feature race and the lucky

number drawn is the starting position. Example, if 13 is drawn, then the car that starts from position 13 will win the lucky draw providing they raced the previous QSRA sanctioned Midget event.

ABOUT PINK NIGHT & OUR FUNDRAISING PARTNERS Pink Night is about continuing the fight against Breast Cancer and raising much needed funds to purchase new equipment for the BreastScreen Queesland Toowoomba Service through our fundraising partners the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation. Toowoomba Hospital Foundation supports the community by helping fund equipment, services, and programs as well as staff development, research, and scholarships for Darling Downs Health. The BreastScreen Queensland Toowoomba Service (located at the Bernoth Centre in Ruthven Street) is the Darling Downs branch for BreastScreen Queensland who have been providing Queensland women with free, quality breast screening and assessment services since 1991. Did you know:

• Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian women • If you’re a woman, your risk of breast cancer increases greatly after the age of

50 • 9 out of 10 women diagnosed with breast cancer have no family history of breast

cancer • Breast screening can find breast cancer early, before it can be seen or felt by a

woman or her doctor • Finding breast cancer early means there are more treatment options • Breast screening has a normal result for most women, with no cancer found
