STOCK POSTING (MB1C): During this process you deliver specified materials to customers. In the first activity you ensure that there is sufficient stock to fulfill these deliveries. As the procurement process is not of interest to this process, you post the stock without reference to any upstream production or purchase order. The materials involved are managed in batches. You therefore need to specify the characteristics of the batches that are posted to.     Enter the following fields:

    Step 1: Select the Document Date (e.g. todays date) using tilt bar or keep the cursor in the field and press F4

    Step 2: Select the Posting Date (e.g. todays date) using tilt bar or keep the cursor in the field and press F4

    Step 3: Select the Movement Type (e.g. 561, 451) using tilt bar or keep the cursor in the field and press F4

  • Phase 1: Stock Posting 1

    Step 4: Select the Plant and Storage Location using tilt bar or keep the cursor in the field and press F4 and press Enter

    Now you will see a screen where you can post the materials.

    Step 5: Enter the Material No. and the quantity.

    Step 6: Press Enter and Save. A pop window will appear with a transport request. Press Enter or click to continue.
