CANS FOR LENT. We, the Knights of Columbus would like you members and parishioners to

contribute one can of food for each day of Lent or 31 cans for the months of January, February and

March. The Knights of Columbus, council #2792 are sponsoring this event. The food will be donated to our parish food room. If you have any questions

IDAHO CATHOLIC APPEAL The 2020 Idaho Catholic Appeal is This year’s theme, For the Glory of God. Our parish goal for this year is

$29,102. All registered parishioners will be receiving a letter from the Bishop with a brochure and pledge from

inviting participation in support of this year’s Idaho Catholic Appeal. Please complete the pledge form and bring it to Mass to place in the offertory basket or you

may mail it directly to the diocese.

APELACIÓN CATHOLICA DE IDAHO La Campaña Católica de Idaho ha comenzado El tema de

este año, “PARA LA GLORIA DE DIOS.” Nuestra meta parroquial para este año es $29,102. Todos los

Basque Dinner Packets Basque Dinner Packets will be sent home with St.

Nicholas Catholic students, Tuesday, March 3. Please purchase your dinner or raffle tickets from a student at St. Nicholas. The dinner is Saturday, March 21. It is a delicious lamb dinner and live auction held at the Rupert Elks. This dinner is hosted by the St. Nicholas

Catholic Women. St. Nicholas Catholic School students will begin selling dinner tickets and raffle

tickets for the Basque Dinner starting Tuesday, March 3. The Basque Dinner is Saturday, March 21 at the

Rupert Elks Club. Please support our students in this important fundraising effort. There are a variety of

fantastic raffle drawing prizes that St. Nicholas Catholic School will be putting together such as a

“Family Fun” Basket , “What's for Dinner” Basket, “Date Night” Basket, “Home Sweet Home”

Basket , and “Let's Celebrate” Basket. We are looking for donations to fill these baskets. For the "Family Fun" basket we are looking for outdoor

games, and family fun activities even gift cards to local events. For the "What's for Dinner" basket we are looking for dinnerware, cook book, and kitchen supplies. For the "Date Night' basket we are looking for gift certificates to restaurants, event tickets. For our "Home Sweet Home" basket we are looking for

home decorations, fresh cleaning supplies, and candles. For our "Let's Celebrate" basket we are

looking for any type of party supplies. If you would like to donate cash , or gift cards to

the Basque Dinner baskets we would love that as well. As always, many wonderful items will be up for

grabs at the auction, so stay tuned to see what the auction will have to offer. Thank you for supporting our students during this fundraiser. We couldn't do it without your support! Remember that all families are

required to volunteer at least 15 hours per year (or buy-out your volunteer hours at $15 per hour).

Donations made to these baskets can count towards your volunteer hours.

Muffins with Moms Thank you to our Parent Teacher Club for organizing a wonderful morning with moms, grandmas, aunts and special guests.

Mime Performances: This is a wonderful portrayal of the last week of the earthly life of Jesus Christ. The Mime students of St. Nicholas Catholic School will portray the anguish and intense moments through a mime experience of re-telling the dramatic story of the life of our Savior. These performances are free to the public. Please see the attached performance dates.
