CORONOVIRUS UPDATE

The Bishops’ Conference has now issued version 3 of the Corona Virus advice. This includes additional measures such as: · Advise those most vulnerable (elderly, people with weakened immune systems and long term conditions like cancer, diabetes and heart disease) to refrain from large parish gatherings and stay at home. · Do not pass the collection plate around, leave it at the back of church. · Suspend catering (teas, coffees etc.) at large parish gatherings where multiple people touch mugs, utensils, biscuits etc. NO COFFEE MORNING.

For your protection we have put the following precautions in place: - hand gel at the entrance to

the church, that we ask you all to use on entering the church, removal of Holy Water, Holy

Communion will only be given under one kind (Eucharistic Ministers not needed for the moment),

Holy Communion will only be given in the hand (not on the tongue), There will be NO sign of

peace. Fr. Sony will wash his hands before giving out Holy Communion. The benches and door

handles are regularly disinfected. We now have the readings and hymns on Mass leaflets, please

take them home with you, they could be a useful source for reflection during the week. DON’T

LEAVE IN CHURCH ONCE USED.
