    Command TeamCornerSummer is always a time o

    high turnover and this year is noexception. Tere are many newaces on the Brave Eagle team

    and many people have movedon to other organizations andinstallations. wo notablearewells are CW5 Perantie,

    who retired ater 26 years oservice, and SFC Byrd, whoretired ater 20 years o service.Congratulations to them andtheir amilies and best o luck intheir uture endeavors. As parto the personnel turnover, theBellator battalion and Raptorbrigade both changed command

    in July. Te Brave Eagles lookedmagnicent supporting theseceremonies and received praiseor their proessionalism andesprit de corps.

    It is an exciting time in

    the Brigade and the BraveEagles are working hardsupporting our sister battalionsas we train or our upcomingdeployments. Te companyprovided maintenance supportpackages or YC in eastern

    Washington and NC inCaliornia earlier this summer.Looking ahead, the company

    will send personnel or uturetraining events at YC andNC that will continue throughthe next quarter. We also havestarted the rst UH-60M phaseunder the capable leadership oSPC(P) Nowak and have begunsupporting AH-64E scheduledmaintenance as well.

    to SFC Jugal or graduatingrom the senior leaders coursewith honors. His achievementled to CSM illman selectingSFC Jugal to represent16th CAB or the eam

    Courage Recognition Award.Additionally, SG Villegaswon the battalion NCO o theyear board and represented theBellators o 46th ASB duringthe 16 CAB NCO o the yearcompetition. As busy as we

    were, the company took timeto hold two FRG picnics atOwens Beach. A special thanksto Cary Ann Clark or makingthe picnics so successul. Wealso took the opportunity to

    welcome Cortney Nardi, thenew FRG leader. We arelooking orward to the manyexciting events the FRG team iplanning or later this summerand all.

    Owen Beach PicnicTis summer we held two picnics

    at Owen Beach. Soldiers and theiramilies enjoyed some un in the sunon the waterront. .

    wo paddle boards and three doublekayaks were availble to use or ree,and there were games or the childrento play which included a parachute,burlap sacks, risbees, sidewalk chalk,bubbles, and ace masks to color withprovided crayons.A rae was held and baked goods

    A Note From the FRG:With the upcoming deployment, some

    amilies may eel more empowered to take

    on some emergency perparedness classes.JBLM is ofer ree 1st Aid/CPR classes.Classes will be taught by the re departmenton base, using American Heart Associationstandards. Te certication is good or 2years. Eligibility is or DoD card holders ages12+, so its open to retirees and dependants.Te class is 8 hours long.

    Reservations are currently being bookedor Septembers classes. Available dates are asollows:
