    New Feats for Birthright:NEW FEATS

    Shadow Guide[General; Halfling]You are a halfling gifted with the ability to findthe hidden ways to and from the Shadow

    World.Prerequisite: Must be a Halfling, ShadowWalkerBenefit: You add the ability to cast Gate(planar travel to the shadow world only) to yourShadow Walker abilities. This ability can onlybe used in deep shadow.

    Shadow Walker [General; Halfling]You are a halfling who has learned how tomake the journey from Cerilia to the ShadowWorld (and return).Prerequisite: Must be a HalflingBenefit: You may cast any combination ofDimension Door and Shadow Walk three timesper week. These spell must begin in and exitareas of heavy shadow.

    BLOODLINE FEATS

    Minor Bloodline [General]The blood of a god runs through your veins,and thus you are noble born. Only the bloodedmay rule with divine mandate. Choose one ofthe following Derivations: Anduiras, Reynir,Brenna, Basaia, Masela, Vorynn, or Azrai.Prerequisite: Must be taken at charactercreation.

    Benefit: You may take Wizard as a class,become a regent, and have access to BloodLine Feats. Furthermore, blooded scions havean additional ability score that is not possessedby unblooded characters. This scoredetermines the bloodline strength of a characterin much the same way that their strength abilityscore determines the characters physicalstrength. Roll 4d6, drop the lowest dice, todetermine your Bloodline Strength. This statmay be the subject of ability increases whengaining levels per page 22 of PHB.Normal: Characters that do not take this featmay not be wizards, become regents, or takeany of the Bloodline feats.

    Major Bloodline [General]The blood of a god runs strongly through yourveins.Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline, BloodlineStrength 16+Benefit: You may access more powerfulbloodline feats. Also, you gain a +1 Bonuswhen determining your score for the LeadershipFeat.

    Great Bloodline [General]The divine essence of a god imbues your verybeing. Your blood flows with power.Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline, Major Bloodline,

    Bloodline Strength 20+Benefit: You may access more powerfulbloodline feats. Also, you gain an additional +2Bonus when determining your score for theLeadership Feat. This stacks with the +1 fromMajor Bloodline.

    Epic Bloodline [General]Your blood is charged with epic power.Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline, Major Bloodline,Great Bloodline, Bloodline Strength 30+Benefit: You may access more powerfulbloodline feats. Also, you gain an additional +3Bonus when determining your score for theLeadership Feat. This stacks with the +1 and

    +2 bonuses.

    True Bloodline [General]Your bloodline is overflowing with divinemight!!! You will shake the foundation of theworld if you so desire.Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline, Major Bloodline,Great Bloodline, Bloodline Strength 50+Benefit: You may access more powerfulbloodline feats. Also, you gain an additional +4Bonus when determining your score for theLeadership Feat. This stacks with the +1, +2,+3 bonuses. Furthermore, your divine blood

    Strengthen Bloodline [General]

    Your divine power increases.Prerequisite: Minor BloodlineBenefit: Gain a +5 Bonus to your BloodlineStrength.Normal: This Feat allows you to increase yourBloodline at an increased rate. You may takethis feat multiple times.

    Animal Affinity[Bloodline]You have a natural affinity for communicatingwith animals, particularly the totem animal of

    your derivationPrerequisite: Minor BloodlineBenefit: Animal Empathy is a class skill for thescion. The scion has empathic communicationto a range of 60 feet with the totem animal ofthe derivation. The empathic communicationprovides the scion a divine bonus equal theirBloodline bonus to Animal Empathy with thetotem species. This ability does not work onDire Animals.

    Blood History[Bloodline]You can call upon the memories of yourancestors.Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline in one of thefollowing derivations: Brenna, Masela, VorynnBenefit: Once per day, the scion may gain a +1per Bloodline Strength bonus to any skill one oftheir ancestors may have possessed for 10minutes times their Bloodline bonus. While

    invoking blood history the character is largelyunaware of his surroundings and is subject toattacks of opportunity.

    Bloodline Alertness[Bloodline]You possess an uncanny sense of yoursurroundings.Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline in one of thefollowing derivations: Minor; Basaia, Brenna,Reynir, AzraiBenefit: Listen and Spot are treated as classskills. Furthermore the scion gains a divinebonus equal to their Bloodline bonus to Listenand Spot checks.

    Bloodmark [Bloodline]You bear a visible, recognizable sign of yourspecial heritage.Prerequisite: Minor BloodlineBenefit: A bloodmark could be as subtle as abirthmark or specific eye or hair color tosomething as unusual as an extra finger or a7ft. build. The bloodmark provides a +2 to allDiplomacy, Persuasion, and Intimidate rolls.NPCs that recognize the mark will reactaccordingly.

    Courage [Bloodline]You are supernaturally courageous.Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline in the Anduiras

    derivation.Benefit: The scion is immune to all fear effects(magical or otherwise).

    Death Touch [Bloodline]You can exude a virulent poison in somemanner.Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline in the Azraiderivation.Benefit: As a Minor ability, the characterstouch is likely to be similar in delivery methodand damage to a poison listed in the DMG (pg80) that costs no more than 100 gp times theirBloodline bonus (min 100 gp, max 500 gp.)

    Detect Lie [Bloodline]You are capable of discerning if someone isdeliberately and knowingly speaking a lie.Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline in any derivationexcept Azrai.Benefit: The scion gains a divine bonus toSense Motive equal to their Bloodline bonus. Anumber of times per day equal to their bloodlinebonus (min 1), the scion can concentrate tocast Discern lie at their character level.

    Detect Illusion [Bloodline]You are rarely fooled by figments orphantasms.Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline in any derivationexcept Anduiras.Benefit: The character gains a divine bonusequal to their Bloodline bonus to all Will savesto disbelieve or save against illusions.Furthermore, the character immediately gains

    an automatic saving throw when encounteringany illusionary figments or phantasms.

    Detect Life [Bloodline]You can sense living creatures nearby.Prerequisite: Minor BloodlineBenefit: With a round of concentration, thescion can sense the exact location of livingplant life and the general amount (little to lots)of animal life in a quarter circle emanating fromthem to a range of 100 yards times the scionsBloodline bonus (min 1).

    Direction Sense [Bloodline]You have an unerring sense of direction.

    Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline in one of thefollowing derivations: Brenna, MaselaBenefit: Intuit Direction is considered a classskill. Scions of the Reynir derivation gain adivine bonus equal to double their Bloodlinebonus to Intuit Direction when in a rural orwilderness setting. Scions of the Maseladerivation gain this bonus when at sea.

    Enhanced Sense [Bloodline]You are gifted with powers of perceptionbeyond those of ordinary mortals.Prerequisite: Minor BloodlineBenefit: Gain the following abilities based onyour derivation:

    Anduiras Gain a bonus equal to yourbloodline strength to SenseMotive.

    Cast detect evil, three times perday, as a spell-like ability.

    Azrai Gain Darkvision (60).Basaia When using ranged weapons,

    reduce the range incrementpenalties by one category.

    Brenna Gain Low-light vision (60)

    Gain a +2 bonus to Spot andListen checks.

    Masela Gain the ability to see or hearnormally through any weather-related obscurement.

    Reynir Gain the Track featGain a bonus equal to yourbloodline bonus to all trackingskill checks.

    Vorynn May use the spell Divination,once per week, as a spell-likeability.

    Forest Walk [Bloodline]You have the ability to harmonize with theforest, moving through it without affecting it.Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline in the Reynirderivation.Benefit: You may pass through forests with nopenalty to your movement rate. Furthermoreyou pass without a trace; all tracking abilities,even the sense of smell possessed by hunting

    hounds, are useless when attempting to trackyou in forested areas.

    Healing [Bloodline]You are capable of miraculous feats of healing.Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline in one of thefollowing derivations: Anduiras, Basaia, ReynirBenefit: The character may cure light wounds,once per day, as a spell-like ability. The bonusfor the cure light wounds is equal to thecharacter's Bloodline bonus instead of theirpriest level. Furthermore, the scion gains adivine bonus to Heal checks equal to theirBloodline bonus.

    Heightened Ability[Bloodline]You embody the cherished trait of yourderivation.Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline in any derivationexcept Masela.Benefit: A character with this trait receives asupernatural enhancement bonus to anattribute. The scion receives a +2 bonus thestatistic that is associated with their derivation:

    Anduiras Strength or Charisma

    Basaia Intelligence

    Brenna Dexterity

    Reynir Constitution

    Vorynn Wisdom

    Azrai Intelligence or Charisma

    Superior Will[Bloodline]You are tougher than ordinary mortals.Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline in one of thefollowing derivations: Anduiras, Reynir, AzraiBenefit: Whenever the scion makes a check forperforming a physical actions that extends overa period of time (running, swimming, ect), thescion receives a divine bonus to the checkequal to his Bloodline Strength Bonus.

    Light of Reason [Bloodline]

    You can radiate with the power of the sun.Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline in the Basaiaderivation.Benefit: The scion may cast Light (pg 222PHB) on him or herself at will. This spell maynot be cast on objects or other subjects. It mayonly be cast on portions of the casters body.This light is treated as Sunlight.

    Long Life[Bloodline]You enjoy a greatly increased natural life span.Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline in any derivation

    Benefit: Once reaching adulthood, the scionages only one year (physically and mentally) forevery five that pass. Similarly, aging attacksand normal disease are only one-fourth aseffective on the scion.

    Mebhaighl Sense [Bloodline]You are particularly in tune with the naturalmagic of Cerilia.

    Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline in the Vorynnderivation.Benefit: Cast Detect Magic at will as a spelllike ability. Furthermore, with a successfulbloodline check, the scion can learn the power(level) and type (school) of magic being castwithin 100 yards times the scions bloodlinebonus. The DC for the check is 10.

    Poison Sense[Bloodline]You have the supernatural ability to senserotten, soured, diseased, poisoned, orotherwise harmful substances near yourperson.Prerequisite: Minor Bloodline in one of the

    following derivations: Azrai, ReynirBenefit: The character automatically gains abloodline check against a DC 10 wheneverapproached by a substance harmful to them.Standard modifiers (as if for Spot) for distanceand distraction apply. In addition, the scion maycast Detect Poison (pg 193 PHB), as a spell-like ability, at will.

    Resistance[Bloodline]You have supernatural resistance to certaintypes of attacks or magicPrerequisite: Minor Bloodline in any derivation.Benefit: Gain the following abilities based on

Bluff is a class skill for thescion. Furthermore, the scion receives a divinebonus to Bluff equal to their Bloodline bonus.

    Alter Appearance[Bloodline]You may magically change your ownappearance.Prerequisite: Major Bloodline in one of thefollowing derivations: Brenna, Vorynn, AzraiBenefit: Disguise is treated as a class skill forthe scion and the scion receives a divine bonus

    equal to their Bloodline bonus to Disguisechecks. Furthermore, the scion gains the abilityto cast the spell Alter Self, as a spell-like ability,once per day, with a duration of one hour timesthe scions Bloodline bonus.

    Improved Animal Affinity[Bloodline]You have a supernatural affinity forcommunicating with and commanding the totemanimal of your derivation.Prerequisite: Animal Affinity, Major BloodlineBenefit:As a Major ability, the scion gains theability to cast Speak with Animals and AnimalFriendship on the totem species at will. Thescion may also use the ability on dire animals ofthe same species.

    Battlewise [Bloodline]You can organize combat with supernaturaleffectiveness.Prerequisite: Major Bloodline in one of thefollowing derivations: Anduiras, AzraiBenefit: The scion and all allies within 200gain a divine bonus equal to his Bloodlinebonus to their initiative rolls. This ability onlyfunctions if the allies can communicate with thescion. Does not stack with the Battlewise abilityof another character.

    Character Reading[Bloodline]You are an unnaturally perceptive judge ofcharacter.Prerequisite: Major Bloodline in one of thefollowing derivations: Basaia, Brenna, VorynnBenefit: Sense motive is treated as a classskill. The scion gains a divine bonus to SenseMotive equal to 5 + their Bloodline bonus.

    Charm Aura[Bloodline]An invisible shroud of power surrounds you.Prerequisite: Major Bloodline in one of thefollowing derivations: Azrai, Basaia, BrennaBenefit: NPCs will recognize the character as apowerful scion and react accordingly. Once per

    day, the scion may cast the spell Mass Charm(pg 226 PHB), effecting 2 HD times yourBloodline bonus, on non-blooded targets within10ft. times your Bloodline bonus.

    Improved Courage[Bloodline]You are supernaturally courageous and inspiresuch courage in others nearby.Prerequisite: Courage, Major Bloodline in

    AnduirasBenefit: Allies within 10 feet gain a moralebonus equal to 5 + the scions Bloodline bonusto Will saving throws against charm and fear

    effects. Furthermore, the scion may inspire hisallies once per day per the Bard ability InspireCourage (pg 28 PHB).

    Improved Death Touch[Bloodline]You can exude a virulent poison in somemanner.Prerequisite: Death Touch,Major Bloodline in

    Benefit: Major Death Touch improves upon theDeath Touch bloodline feat. Add your BloodlineStrength bonus to the DC of the poison.

    Improved Detect Lie [Bloodline]You are capable of discerning if someone isdeliberately and knowingly speaking a lie.Prerequisite: Detect Lie, Major Bloodline inany derivation except Azrai.Benefit: The scion can cast Zone of Truth (pg274 PHB), centered on himself, once per dayper Bloodline Strength bonus.

    Improved Detect Life[Bloodline]You can sense living creatures nearby.

    Prerequisite: Detect Life, Major BloodlineBenefit: With two rounds of concentration, thescion can sense the exact location of low-orderanimal life (Intelligence 2 or less) and thegeneral amount (little to lots) of high-orderanimal life (Intelligence 3 or greater) in aquarter circle emanating from the scion to arange of 200 yards times the scions Bloodlinebonus.

    Divine Aura[Bloodline]An intangible mantle of power and nobilitysurrounds you.Prerequisite: Bloodmark, Major Bloodline inany derivation except Brenna.

    Benefit: NPCs will recognize the character as ascion and react accordingly. Three times perday, as a spell-like ability, the scion may addhis Bloodline Strength Bonus to all Charismabased ability and skill checks for 1 round. Thisbonus stacks with Greater Divine Aura.

    Divine Wrath[Bloodline]You are imbued with great strength whenmoved to anger.Prerequisite: Major Bloodline in one of thefollowing derivations: Anduiras, Basaia, MaselaBenefit: Intimidate is treated as a class skill,and the gains a +2 divine bonus to all intimidatechecks. When the DM decides that the scionhas been moved to unusually extreme anger,the scions divine essence manifestsinvoluntarily. When this ability is manifest, thescion temporarily gains +6 to Strength and a +3bonus to all saves. Spells cast by the scionreceive a +1/die bonus to all variable numericeffects (but may not exceed the normalmaximum effect). In addition, the scion gainsdamage reduction 1/- as an 11th levelbarbarian. Any enemy within short range whomeets the scions gaze is subject to Fear. Thedivine wrath lasts 10 minutes plus one minute

    Elemental Control [Bloodline]You can command the elements associatedwith your derivation.

    Prerequisite: Major Bloodline in one of thefollowing derivations: Anduiras, Basaia, Masela,ReynirBenefit: The scion gains one of the followingdomains, and all of the benefits of the Domain.The character can turn the appropriateelements as a Cleric of the Characters Level.The character does not get bonus spells foreach level to cast from the domain list eachday. He can however, cast the spells as acleric of his Character level with any Bonusspell slots provided by a high Wisdom bonus.The casting of these spells is considered divinemagic.

Intimidate is treated as a classskill and the scion receives a divine bonusequal to their Bloodline bonus to Intimidatechecks.

    Improved Forest Walk [Bloodline]You have the ability to harmonize with theforest, moving through it without affecting it.Prerequisite: Forest Walk, Major Bloodline inReynirBenefit: The scion gains SR 15 + theirBloodline bonus against any magical attemptsto track, locate, or scry the scions locationwhile in a forested region.

    Improved Healing[Bloodline]You are capable of miraculous feats of healing.Prerequisite: Healing, Major Bloodline in oneof the following derivations: Anduiras, Basaia,ReynirBenefit: The scion may cast Cure ModerateWounds (pg 190 PHB), RemoveBlindness/Deafness, Remove Disease andRemove Paralysis (pg 244 & 245 PHB) onceper day.

    Home Hearkening[Bloodline]You have a stronger connection to your land,holdings or base of operation then most scions.

    Prerequisite: Major Bloodline in BrennaBenefit: Regardless of your location, the scionfeels immediately uncomfortable and neededwhenever their homeland experiences achallenge or a threat. The feeling persists untilthe matter is resolved.

    Persuasion[Bloodline]You can create arguments of extreme clarityand logic.Prerequisite: Major Bloodline in one of thefollowing derivations: Azrai, BrennaBenefit: Diplomacy is treated as a class skill forthe scion and the scion receives a divine bonusequal to their Bloodline bonus to Diplomacy

    Protection from Evil[Bloodline]Your divine essence wards you from evil.Prerequisite: Major Bloodline in any derivationexcept Azrai.

    Benefit: Scion acts as if continually under theeffects of a Protection from Evil spell (pg 240PHB).

    Improved Resistance[Bloodline]You have supernatural resistance to certaintypes of attacks or magic.Prerequisite: Resistance, Major Bloodline inany derivation.Benefit: Gain the following abilities based onyour derivation:Anduiras SR 15 against Enchantment

    Sea Song[Bloodline]

    You have the ability to interpret the song of thesea.Prerequisite: Major Bloodline in MaselaBenefit: Once per day the scion may communewith any large body of water (such as a sea,ocean, lake, or large river) to answer questionsthat pertain to the water itself (the things itcontains, the things that sail upon its surface,and brewing weather) or lands touched directlyby the body of water. All questions asked mustbe Yes/No questions. The scion must make abloodline check against a DC based on thedifficulty of the knowledge in order interpretthe song. In general, DCs are lower for water-related facts. Determining the presence of an

    unnatural sea creature might have DC of 10,determining if a particular person sailed acrossthe body of water might have a DC of 15,determining if a particular person lives in any ofthe coastal villages nearby may have a DC of20 or higher.

    Wither Touch[Bloodline]Your touch can desiccate and wither livingtissue on contact.Prerequisite: Major Bloodline in Azrai

    Benefit: Once per day the scion can make atouch attack which deals 1d4 + the scionsBloodline bonus damage to both strength andhit points of a living foe. The Strength damagelast for a number of rounds equal to theBloodline bonus.

    GREAT ABILITIES

    Greater Animal Affinity[Bloodline]You have a supernatural affinity forcommunicating with, commanding, and takingthe form of the totem animal of your derivation.Prerequisiture: Animal Affinity, Improved

    Animal Affinity, Great BloodlineBenefit: The scion gains the ability toconcentrate to establish an empathic link to anyanimal of the totem species within one mile,including Dire versions. Animals of the totemspecies can be detected (and thencommunicated with) at the rate of one perround, starting from the nearest animal first.

    Animals of the totem species will obey anycommand and will give their lives in service ofthe scion. Additionally, once per day, the scionmay wild shape (as a druid) into an animal oftheir totem species. The scions animal form isconstant: the species, size, and appearance ofthe scions animal form is the always the sameand should generally parallel the scions ownphysical traits.

    Berserkers BloodYou can surpass the limits of mortal endurancein battle.Prerequisite: Great Bloodline in one of thefollowing derivations: Azrai, Vorynne

    Benefit: During battle, whenever the scionsuffer hit point damage would normally causeyou to drop to 0 hit points or below, youbecome berserk. You immediately gaintemporary hit points equal to your Bloodlineability score.When this ability is manifest, the sciontemporarily gains +6 to Strength and a +3bonus to all saves. Spells cast by the scionreceive a +1/die bonus to all variable numericeffects (but may not exceed the normalmaximum effect). In addition, the scion gainsdamage reduction 1/- as an 11th levelbarbarian. Any enemy within short range whomeets the scions gaze is subject to Fear. You

    continue fighting until you die, run out of targetsto attack, or are healed of all damage to yourtemporary hit points (so that your normal hitpoint total is above 0).
