The usual attendance at our confer- ence, now in its thirty-ninth year, exceeds 600 practitioners, representing pediatricians and allied health professionals from all parts of the United States and from many foreign countries. We thank our many excellent speakers - a true all-star cast of the most knowledgeable educa- tors in pediatrics and pediatric subspecialties. Most of all, we are grateful to our meeting registrants for their continuing interest and enthusiasm. The overall learning need identified by our physicians’ education committee was for practical, evidence-based medicine that can be applied in the clinical setting. Needs in a wide variety of subject areas were identified. This program will address the areas of: Adolescent Medicine, Allergy, Dermatology, Infectious Diseases, Media, Sports Medicine and Urology. This is an opportunity to escape the frantic pace of wintertime pediat- rics, visit with old friends, make new friends, and return home refreshed with new knowl- edge and relaxed from three to four beautiful days in exciting Las Vegas. At the conclusion of this activity participants should be able to: Registration and Message Center The AAP-CA on-site registration desk will be open on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and during the meeting from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. Upon registration you will receive an electronic flash drive syllabus and folder with meeting information. A message center and information desk will be maintained during the meeting in the registration area. Full paper syllabus is also available for an additional charge of $35. Cancellation and Refund Policy Program registration cancellations by October 30, 2017 will be subject to an administrative charge of $50. There will be no refunds for cancellations after October 30, 2017. All cancellations must be in writing. WelcomeThis year, the Annual Las Vegas Seminars will be held at the exciting Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Hotel AccommodationsTwo hundred and seventy-five rooms at Caesars Palace will be available to registrants at the special rate of $199 for Deluxe Rooms, single or double occupancy, subject to tax. Additional persons: $29 a day, with a maximum of four persons per room. This special rate is valid the nights of November 16-20 only and is available until October 16, 2017 or until all 275 blocked rooms are taken. Once these are taken, regular hotel rates will apply.
