THREE NINES PLUS CSG (Colloidal Silver Generator) - INSTRUCTIONS
Unpack the generator and the electrodes. Plug the electrodes into the generator. The LED should not be glowing at this stage. Press the switch to see the LED glow.
The generator is now ready for use.
Obtain a drinking glass, or glass jar etc. at least 100mm (4inches) in height.
The electrodes should not come closer than about 12mm (1/2 inch) from thebottom of the glass.
Place the high grade distilled water into the glass, so that when the unit is placedon to the glass with the electrodes in the water, the water level should be just
below the bottom of the terminal heat shrink insulation.
If you havent already, place the unit centrally on the top of the glass with theelectrodes in the water.
The LED should be glowing faintly. Note: The brilliance of the LED at this stage will be determined by the
purity of the water. The fainter the glow the purer the water.
The unit can be used with any water, but if it for human consumption itshould be high grade distilled water.
NOTE: Kestar classifies distilled water to be high grade when it has lessthan one part per million impurities.
A list of places to obtain high grade distilled water is available on thewebsite www.mprocsg.kestar.com.au
If you use any water, other than high grade distilled water, the LED willglow brightly and the unit will be running in constant current mode.
If you press the switch now you should see the brilliance increase. This comparemethod will show you when you have the correct colloidal silver concentration:
When the brilliance of the LED while the switch is not pressed is the sameas when it is pressed, the concentration should be between 5 and 10 parts
per million. This presumes you started with high grade distilled water. Theunit can now be removed from the glass. You may wish to leave the unitin the water to increase the concentration of silver as it will now be
running in constant current mode. To do this you should use a TDS meter
or similar so that the concentration can be monitored.
Once you have worked out how long the process takes, next time you could set atimer to sound, to let you know when to remove the unit from the glass.

The electrodes should then be cleaned. Remove them from the unit and using afacial tissue, draw the electrodes, one at a time, tightly through the tissue, several
times. This will remove any residue from the electrodes.
Any oxide residue in the colloidal silver should be left to settle and not consumed. The colloidal silver could also be decanted or filtered through a clean fine woven
cloth to remove any oxide residue which is a normal part of colloidal silverproduction.
The resultant colloidal silver should be clear (not cloudy) if it is to be used forhuman consumption.
Pour the colloidal silver through unbleached paper coffee filter paper or similar.Pour into clean amber bottles which have been rinsed with distilled water.Store away from light and heat an electrical wiring. Do not refrigerate.
The silver electrodes should be replaced when the diameter reduces to about half. After this, the surface area has reduced to the point where it affects the efficiency
of the process. See Replacement Electrodes on the next page.
Other points.
Batteries
The unit is fitted with three alkaline batteries.
High quality alkaline batteries should last in excess of 350 hours of continuous use. This time will usually be more for normal intermittent usage.
When the LED does not glow, or does not glow as bright as it normally does, when
the switch is pressed, it is time to replace the batteries.
Replacing The BatteriesAlways replace all three batteries at the same time and always use alkaline batteries.
To replace the batteries use a Phillips #1 cross head screwdriver to remove the four
screws in the underside of the unit. Put these in a safe place. The unit then comes
apart with the wiring holding the two sections.
The next part involves working inside the case. Be careful not to interfere with or
stress the internal wiring or components inside the unitCarefully remove/slide each battery from its spring holder, and then remove theconnecting clip from each battery. Discard the three batteries.
Reverse the above procedure to replace the batteries. Place the clip on each new
battery (they only go on one way do not force them) then place each battery into its
spring holder with the connecting wires coming out the top. Check that the batteries,
with the clips firmly attached, are all well within the case boundary.

Put the two sections of the case together, being careful not to pinch any of the wires.
The last stage is to insert the four screws. Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, secureeach screw. Do not over tighten by applying excessive force, just make them firm.
Storage
When the unit is not in use, remove the electrodes and store the unit so that the base
cannot contact the electrodes or a metal surface which could short the electrode
sockets. If the electrode sockets are shorted the batteries will be unintentionallydrained.
Extended Period Storage
If the unit is not to be used for a very long time (more than a few months) remove the
batteries from the unit and store separately (each sealed in a separate plastic bag).
Do not let the terminal ends of the batteries touch each other. This would cause ashort circuit, heat and possible fire.
Warranty
Each Three Nines Plus CSG unit is protected by a three year warranty for faults in
workmanship in manufacturing and parts.
Exclusions:
The electrodes, which eventually become thinner, are not included in thiswarranty. The batteries are not included in the warranty. The warranty does not cover damage through accident or other, not limited to:
dropping, water ingress, excessive force, exposure to the elements or internal
damage caused while changing the batteries.
