Subject:- To apply for the Post Matric Scholarship of Punjab for the session 2015-16 (Fresh & Renewal of scholarship)-reg.Dear Students,

The Punjab Government has announced Post Matric Scholarship Scheme of Central Government for SC & OBC category students of Punjab for the session 2015-16. The Punjab Govt. Aashirwad Scholarship Portal has been started w.e.f. 26-Sep.2015.

All the students who have submitted their documents for Post Matric Scholarship Scheme in Division of Admissions (fresh cases) or Block No.32, Room No.102 (renewal cases) are hereby informed to register for the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme by creating their login id & password in Aashirwad Scholarship portal of Punjab for the session 2015-16. For old students who have applied last year for this scholarship, the students have to use their old user login id & password for applying for the scholarship on the Aashirwad Scholarship Portal. The user login id & password (renewal cases) has already been sent to you in your my messages in UMS. In this scholarship portal you have to fill your complete information as mentioned in step 1, step 2 & step 3.

Step 3: For uploading the compulsory documents on Portal:

The complete process for filling step 1, step 2 & step 3 can be downloaded from the announcement from UMS dated 28.9.15. Moreover, FAQs can also be downloaded from the UMS announcement or from the Aashirwad Scholarship Portal.

After completing the above process, the students have to submit the duly signed print application form in Block No.32, Room No. 102 on or before 12-Oct-2015 along with pending documents (If any). If any student fail to produce the desired documents for the renewal of Post Matric Scholarship for the academic year 2015-16 then their case will not be processed and the student will not be eligible for the Post Matric Scholarship of Punjab.All the queries related with Post Matric Scholarship, Punjab will be handled at 32-102. In case of any confusion / problem in applying for Post Matric Scholarship, Punjab, you can contact Mr. Anil Dhawan, Senior Officer, State Scholarship Information and Verification Cell in 32-102.Note: If you have already submitted all the required documents then you need not to submit it again.
