Śri Ganapathi (Sanskrit:गणपति) is also known as Ganesha, Vighneswara, Vināyaka, and Gajamukha. Śri
Ganesha is the elephant-headed Devatha of power and wisdom. He is the eldest son of Śri Siva and the elder brother of Śri Kārtikeya (Subrahmanya).
Significance of Śri Mahā Ganapathi Homam: Mahā Ganapathi Homam/Havan is
dedicated to Śri Ganesha and performed at the beginning of all new endeavors and to overcome obstacles and attain success. Vighneswara (Devatha-who prevents
obstacles), is always invoked first in any venture that we undertake. The combination of the powerful energy of the fire element, and the chanted mantras
create extremely auspicious and purifying vibrations that are beneficial to all who attend the Homam/Havan. Join us with your family to obtain the blessing of
Śri Mahā Ganapathi.
