From The Chancellor…

The Word of God International University and Holistic Wellness Institute is founded on the

principle of making your calling and election sure with individualized mastery learning for

all academic learners. The dynamic role of teacher/student Lamad training is supported by

Biblical counselors, Christ-centered life coaches, ministerial personal trainers, and mentors.

There is no compromise in the roles played in holistic information literacy…

Each student intern is encouraged to develop a ministerial portfolio, meeting credential,

professional, government, and business requirements for life-long learning, service leader-

ship, as well as life empowerment. The academic classes for learners working on Bachelor,

Associate, Master, and Doctoral degrees compliment their portfolios, serving as resources

to motivationally enrich and assure success in scholarship, practice, and leadership.

Each professor is constructively supportive of the scholarship, practice, and leadership skills of each student intern in service leadership.

Joshua Smith, PhD, Religious Education

Called of the Lord during adverse circumstances in life, God put a deep hunger for His Word in her heart. Dr. Laurella had memorized nearly 2,000 Scriptures through the Bible Memory Association in a period of five years. Longing to know Christ better brought a visitation of the Lord. Shortly after the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the Lord appeared to her, speaking Isaiah 61 as a direction for her life. The zeal of Evangelism was upon Pastor Laurella. She was invited to speak on Evangelism at a Church in San Diego, California. The Lord spoke to her, “You are going to have a Bible College.” Her pastor, Dr. Esther Mallett, was very doubtful. However, when prophets confirmed the Word three months later, the Lord worked did a miracle. Southern California Community Bible College was began, presently named Endtime Ministries International Bible University. Hundreds of students have graduated and are now in the ministry as Pastors, Evangelists, and Chaplains; for example, Dr. Joshua and Evangelist Sherilyn Smith to name a couple. Pastor Laurella established a Church and branch School in Santa Barbara, California. God called her to minister in several countries and influence world leaders, including Chairman Yasser Arafat. Some of the countries in which she ministered are Africa, Argentina, Bolivia, China, England, Indonesia, Laos, Philippines, and Mexico. On December 10, 2005, Dr. Laurella married Pastor Ken Meyer. They pastor Mercy Church International and oversee Endtime Ministries International Bible University and other works. Both are involved in satellite televi- sion (The Way TV), reaching millions of people in Africa, Israel, Middle East, New Zealand, South America and will soon cover the USA via Dish Network. Both Dr. Laurella and Pastor Ken give God the Glory for His Great Grace and the privilege of serving our King, the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Word of God International University

&

Holistic Wellness Institute

We believe that Christians can work together to spread The Word of God everywhere to lost and dying souls. Our student body is made up of representatives from many Christian organizations. It is our desire to open satellite campuses, affiliates, and training centers all over the world.

Vision & Mission The Word of God International University (WGIU) is organized to equip all of God’s people with service leadership and life empowerment skills through satellite, “local church” based locations and educational resources for effective ministry, carrying out the Gospel of the Kingdom mes-sage: Mark 16:15-18 According to Matthew 24:13, “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved” WGIU shall become a world-wide, local church-based educational network, empowering men and women with maturity of intellect, character, and Christian faith. Encouraging service leader-ship, post-graduate and graduate, certified and licensed specialists and practitioners of WGIU will help to fulfill the Gospel of the Kingdom before the coming of the LORD Jesus Christ… “And the gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a wit-ness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Matthew 24:14

Biblical Principles & Objectives Looking at the moral decadence that prevails today, all Christians must remember that the Holy Bible (the revelation of God’s way, truth, and life) must determine not only our doctrinal faith, but also our lifestyle. Christian life should exemplify learning the Bible, Christ-like character, and building ones prayer life or faith. In a changing world, the Christian has an unchanging standard, The Word of God. Our beliefs are based upon the Apostles’ Doctrine, teachings of Jesus Christ, and principles of the Bible, seeking to develop personal holiness and disci- pline exemplified in service leader-ship life empowerment and a life- style glorifying God.

WGIU is a Bible based, Christ-centered institution dedicated to the teaching, training, and restoration of Christians for the work of the ministry to the uttermost parts of the world. Student interns desiring to operate a satellite campus are required to complete credential, professional, government and business requirements for certification to work and licensing to teach.

Also as masters and doctoral learners, they must fulfill the requirements of these degrees, which include but are not limited to core curriculum; electives; serving as associate professor for four terms; writing a thesis, publishing a text book, and workbook for a master degree; and for a doctoral degree, serving as certified professor for four terms; defending and writing a dissertation; and, publishing a book.

The Purpose of WGIU WGIU is centered on Christ. Jesus Christ is the Bread of Life. People all over the world are hungry to know Him, as well as to learn about Him and His Word. Learners will grow in Him and in the knowledge of His Word in a “local church” setting that helps them learn the Bible and develop their full potential as men and women of God as service leaders.

WGIU is founded for education and training, locally, nationally, and internationally. Working with affiliate university and college programs, we provide a complete Bible-based curriculum. We have an accelerated, comprehensive curriculum for the training of men and women for effective service under pastoral authority and professional disciple-ship. Our program will be fully accredited in two years.

WGIU is committed to the standard of high academic achievement and performance with associate, bachelor, master, and doctoral degrees for its scholarly learners. Working along with credible affiliates, we offer outstanding classes to develop Christian leadership for effective service, winning the lost to Christ.

WGIU is more than an academic institution. It is an educational ministry with spirit, power, and focus on the restoration and transformation of lives, cities, and nations by the power of

God. WE’LL BRING THE EDUCATION TO YOU.

Personal Faith Story

“God makes it very plain to us that we all stand equally before Him. That equality means that we are each sent to earth at unique times with God’s purpose and plan in mind. I now recognize the weight and the responsibility along with the joy of the Lord that He chose to send me to the parents of Robert and Pauline Parham and the grandparents of Charles Fox, Sarah E. Parham and Ella Fowler.

The Holy Spirit continues to recall to me fond remembrances of dinner table conversations from my early child-hood through the years that causes me to recognize the responsibility of my life before Him and continually pushes
