Health Care is an exploratory course that introduces students to the principles and practices of health care, giving an overview of career opportunites available in the field. Ethical and legal issues are also discussed, encouraging critical thinking skills and introspection.

Students study the structure of the human body, review what should be done when someone is injured, discover the nature of disease, and learn different ways to treat illness. Students explore several health professions and practice some of the skills necessary for those professions.

This course engages students by means of compelling online curriculum with relevant projects that include:
