After watching some of the videos you will see in this essay, I cried and felt remorse forliving on this planet at this particular moment in human history where we all must confront

Well the bad is leaking out all over the place especially in the Gulf of Mexico whereperhaps the greatest disaster humanity has ever had to face is taking place. What I haveto write about today is not for the faint hearted or for fluff balls who just want everyone tobe nice and want serious problems to go away by themselves. Life, as it is beingpresented to us in 2010, is not for the weak. In fact many of our concepts and defensesare going to be rolled over by events happening on far shores as well by localenvironments near our homes.

I wish it was the only one great disaster humanity has to face but that is not the case. Wehave a story of biblical proportions shaping up but centered most strongly in the North

American continent where the richest nation on earth goes through her death throws,which will probably be violent ones. What is happening though is happening to the world.One does not have to be a psychic today to see the handwriting on the wall but ourresistance to change is paramount to keeping people frozen like dear caught in front ofheadlights.

We have a nightmarish ecological disaster riding on top of financial and economicdisasters meeting up with a violent climate change and global cooling, which is directlythreatening world food supplies. Four horsemen are riding in our collective direction andtheir hoofs are going to crush a great part of humanity. Some people are very happyabout that since their goal is to reduce humanity down to about 500 million souls whothey will abuse and control. And this speaks nothing of our current wars, the wars thatare ominous, or the political and corporate leadership that cannot face any of thesethreats in an intelligent and compassionate way.

Most people cannot hear the hoofs of the four apocalyptic horsemen coming up the

street. The first horseman of the Apocalypse is mentioned in Revelation 6:2: I looked,and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown,and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest. Then another horse came out, a fieryred one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slayeach other. To him was given a large sword. The second horseman refers to terriblewarfare that will break out in the end times. The third horseman was a black horse! Itsrider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. The third horseman of the Apocalypserefers to a great famine that will take place. The fourth horseman is symbolic of death anddevastation.

Great Famine

Several recent headlines indicate that food prices will continue their climb upward. Thesetroubling new reports show that agriculture production and stored grains are critically lowand experts are predicting food shortages. The very likely possibility of a food shortagescare is rising as crop conditions deteriorate across the world. We are talking big potatoeshere so eat up while you can. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) just cut the

acreage for corn planting this year by one million from the 88 million projected on March31, left traders using terms such as game-changer and shocking. The governmentreport showed one million fewer acres of corn planted this year than earlier projected, andalmost 300 million fewer bushels of corn in storage. Thats a lot of food! Now add about25 million acres under water in Canada and thats a lot of bellies going to go hungry inthe north next winter.

If the USDA is right, then it turns out we dont have those big corn surpluses after all,and that leaves the market vulnerable to weather, said Don Roose, president of USCommodities in West Des Moines.

Its bad news all around the world. Thailand and Vietnam, the worlds two largest riceexporters, face severe drought conditions that threaten to severely undermine this yearscrops and global supplies. Severe food shortage follows lack of rainfall in Syria. And nowcrops are being damaged by the toxic rain from the Gulf oil disaster. Mounting evidencesuggests that the oil dispersant, Corexit 9500, can phase transition and could be enteringclouds to form a toxic rain over the region.

On J uly 1st Governor Chris Gregoire asked U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack todesignate 29 counties in Washington as farm disaster areas due to weather-relatedlosses. The damage was the result of extreme weather conditions throughout the spring,including severe cold, high winds and excessive rains. Potato and alfalfa crops wereseverely damaged after a freezing wind swept through east Idaho in the middle of J une.

Temperatures dropped to as low as 28 degrees, freezing the crops within minutes. Dontlet the eastern seaboard heat fool you; its getting cooler in the world because the FederalReserve could not figure out a way of extending credit to the sun so it would increasesolar output.

The evidence is mounting as one region after another checks in with their disasters whether too much rain or too little, the cold, toxic pollution destroying a rich sea source offoods in the Gulf or acid oil rain destroying foods on land that the world will begin to runout of food at the end of 2010 and 2011. When this happens, the resulting triple digit foodinflation will lead to mass starvation as initially price will determine availability. In the faceof food shortages, life will change dramatically and in a very short period of time. So plantyour gardens now! You dont have to be an end-of-times survivalist to believe thatplanting and storing food is pragmatic. Everyone with resources can and should design agood food storage and rotation system and buy bulk food as an investment along withcreating self-sufficiency.

out by researchers from the London-based consulting firm Trucost, which portends aghastly story of death, disease and destruction. Part of this toxicity is having an impact onthe quality and even quantity of food available on our dinner plates; and this going onyear after year is rising up to strike our cells like poisonous snakes.

The Gulf of Mexico is fast turning into a kill zone,both ecologically and economically, whoseimpact will be powerful, and soon.

Dr. Palmer from the University of Texas and part of a Harvard Research team has told ushow polluted the Gulf Region is with mercury, which is already having a direct effect onour children by playing its part in the devastating epidemic of neurological disorders

including autism. It is not just the fish, the vaccines, or the dental amalgams that aresaturating our bodies with mercury. Americans and people around the world are going tohave to wake up to the fact that mercury is in the air they breathe, in the soil they plant in,and in the water they drink. And so are a lot of other deadly chemicals building up in theenvironment and now we have the Gulf adding a million to two million gallons more ofpure toxicity to the area every day.

War Clouds on the Horizon

The cycles of war the natural rhythms that predispose societies to descend into chaos,into hatred, into civil and even international war are building momentum again andthreaten to bear down on the world in short order. The U.S., for example, has pressuredits mostly erstwhile allies into upping the sanctions on Iran for its efforts at becoming anuclear power.

And so the next chapter in this ongoing drama is set to open. A chapter, I fear, thatultimately leads to another war in the Middle East, potentially set off by a provision in thelatest round of sanctions that calls for the embargoing countries to inspect cargo to andfrom Iran. By creating the conditions for what could easily turn into a naval blockade, theWest has created an opportunity for a shoot-out at sea followed by all manner ofconsequences. Given Irans highly strategic location, an outbreak of hostilities whichwould almost certainly quickly devolve into air strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities andretaliatory strikes against U.S. interests in the area could amount to a very large blackswan that sends the price of oil back into the triple-digits. The action item here is to payclose attention for stories of U.S. or British vessels boarding Iranian vessels at sea. Atwhich point, should pay off big, writes Casey Research.

Throughout history, major wars have often been triggered by financial crises. So thequestion is: Will today's great financial crisis the worst since the 1930s Depression lead to World War III? North Korea is desperate and getting more so as their population isdevastated by starvation and absolute control. The Afghanistan war has already spilledover into Pakistan and nobody is happy with what is happening in Georgia and otherplaces around the underbelly of Russia.

In fact, electricity power-generating stations along the coastare at risk of shutdown due to the likelihood of oil entering the water intake valves. Thegreat majority of US states are at the end of their rope with budget shortfalls federalnegligence, certain to result in broad layoffs, even dismissal of police and teachers andgarbage collectors. These three groups of workers are commonly viewed as most critical.If police vanish, then chaos erupts. If teachers vanish, ignorance prevails along with idleyoungsters on the streets.
