CANCELLATIONS All cancellations must be notified in writing to Colegio Maravillas no less than 28 days before the start of the course.The deposit of 150 euros is non-refundable.

Cancellations received: • 21 – 14 days before the start of the course: 90 % of the remaing fees will be refunded • 14 – 7 days before the start of the course: 75 % of the remaing fees will be refunded • less than 7 days: no refund

If the student wishes to withdraw after the start of the course, there will be no refund of fees. Any refund can only be made by the office or representative to whom the fees were originally paid.

Periods of absence for vacation or any other reason may not be made up with free extension of the course. Fees are not transferrable from one person to another.

Benalmádena is an attractive, medium-sized town on the Costa del Sol (approx. 50.000 inhabitants), located on a hill at the foot of the Mijas mountain range, only 18 km from Málaga city and 12 km from Málaga International Airport, which is within 3 hours flying time from most European capitals.Originally a sleepy Andalusian fishing village with beautiful white washed houses, Benalmádena has developed into a lively and animated town which retains its old charm and character.The town is small enough to provide a peaceful and secure environment, while large enough to offer good shops, hotels and restaurants, a large park, a modern sports centre, a library, shopping centres, cinemas, an art gallery, etc.

The Hostel Sol y Miel is situated in the centre of Arroyo de la Miel, Benalmádena (Malaga), and is just 5 minutes walk to the school and a ten minutes walk to the beach.The Hostel has 40 rooms with bathroom/ shower ensuite, air conditioning, TV. 20 lessons / weekThe lessons cover all aspects of learning the language. The classes are focused on comprehension, communication, creative writing, idiomatic expressions and presentation of role-plays. A total of 20 hours (x 50 min.) tuition per week in small groups. Morning lessons.

20 lessons / week This is a skills development course for teachers of Spanish as a foreign language whose mother tongue is not Spanish, which covers such topics as teaching methodology, confidence building in the classroom, teaching young learners, lesson planning, material selection and production, and the introduction and use of computers and audio-visual aids in the classroom setting.In addition the course provides teachers with an excellent opportunity to explore recent changes in language usage and exchange views with their colleagues from other countries.

What about an internship in the tourism industry right on the Costa del Sol?Colegio Maravillas offers you a preparation course in our center in Benalmadena (Málaga) for a minimum of 2 weeks (20 lessons per week) combined with work experience in a Spanish company for a period of at least 5 and max. 24 weeks providing an opportunity to gain experience (only available for EU citizens).

This course is based on individual training or two students sharing a teacher, and is designed for people who wish to make maximum progress in a short amount of time. Special attention is given to precise language and occupational needs. Our course is highly practical with an emphasis on real communication in real situations.

10 hours / weekAs an official examination center for the Instituto Cervantes, students can choose our school to take the DELE exam. Exam fees vary according to the level chosen. The exams take place in April, May, July, October and November. Please ask for exact 2017 dates for your level.Our DELE preparation courses is based on our INTENSIVE COURSE (group course 20 lessons / week) + 10 extra hours weekly in a course specially designed to prepare the exam in a mini-group.

This program is specifically designed for Senior students: learn Spanish in an informal atmosphere taught at a more relaxed pace by friendly teachers who encourage participation and interaction. Outside the classroom you will have the benefit of guided excursions and visits and other carefully arranged leisure activities.

Live and study in your teacher’s home with a tailor-made program: the most effective way to learn a language!Choose the number of lessons per week you need: 15, 20 or 25. After several months of refurbishing, the new premises are now ready. Situated in a nearby annex, our new space contains 3 additional classrooms - all equipped with modern technology, audiovisual aids, air conditioning-, a small reception area and a bathroom. The annex has been named "Rincón latinoamericano" and each class honors world renowned writers from Latin America.
