33. ASK Metal Forming
Programme
1
With the motto „Shaping Ideas“ the 33rd ASK will address current topics and challenges in metal forming from the perspectives of material science, plant engineering and the application industries.
Increasingly efficient methods of material modelling, process simulation and the analysis of large amounts of data are enabling a large number of new approaches to enhance efficiency in the production and processing of steel and non-ferrous metals. Combined with modern material concepts and innovative forming processes, this offers opportunities for new solutions in important application sectors such as aviation, traffic engineering, energy technology and civil engineering. With the 33rd ASK Metal Forming we again would like to offer an inspiring platform for an intensive exchange of experience on these topics. The current view of the companies will be represented, as well as new ideas and solutions from the university sector in the comprehensive plenary contributions, in the in-depth technical sessions, in the trade fair forum and in the accompanying technical exhibition.
Together with Professor Kopp and all our employees at the IBF we would be very glad to welcome you to the 33rd ASK Metal Forming in Aachen.
Gerhard Hirt
