CONFERENCE INFORMATIONCONFERENCE INFORMATION

The Washington State Academy of Physician Assistants is proud to host its 31st Annual Primary Care Review and Update Conference at the Marriott Hotel near the Seattle Airport. We know that all Physician Assistants need updated CME to help them continue to provide excellent patient care. We also understand the need for Physician Assistants to review major medical core knowledge areas as they prepare to take the NCCPA Recertification Exam. Our goal is to help meet both of these needs, and to

make your learning experience a pleasant one. Please join us at our 2020 Spring Conference for an outstanding opportunity to review and update your medical skills as well as enjoy the rare opportunity to network with fellow colleagues.

Concurrent LecturesConcurrent lectures are offered throughout this conference to provide you with medical education alternatives. Whether you have been to our conference before or attending for the first time, we are certain you will be completely satisfied with the vast variety of choices available. Many of these offerings will have a hands on workshop feel, without any extra fees.

Concurrent WorkshopsSimilar to concurrent lectures, the concurrent workshops are intended to provide conference attendees with medical educa-tion alternatives. The workshops will have limited enrollment to maximize the hands-on nature of the sessions. Please refer to the registration page for each required workshop fee.

NEW THIS YEAR! Saturday Night Trivia | 6:00 pm –8:00 pmJoin your conference attendees for WAPA’s first Trivia Night. We will meet at the Aqua Terra bar extension. Form a team or come solo to relax and have some fun after a day of lectures!

This activity was planned in accordance with AAPA CME Standards for Live Programs and for Commercial Support of Live Programs.

Electronic SyllabusWAPA will be providing an e-syllabus in place of a paper syllabus. The link will be sent to your email address prior to the start of the conference. It will have all of the speaker presentations (powerpoint slides, outline, articles). Each attendee at registration check-in will receive a packet of information (schedule, raffle rules and events that you signed up for). The e-syllabus can be downloaded onto your laptop or ipad so that you can follow along during the presentations. The e-syllabus will be available online for 3 months after the confer-ence. Watch for an email from WAPA with instructions on how to view the e-syllabus online. There will be complimentary WiFi in the lecture halls.
