    ADMINISTRATION SECTION Policy: 3.1

    PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE

    The primary purpose of school administration is to create and foster anenvironment which is conducive to a successful teaching-learning

    process. A second major purpose is to facilitate efficiency and economyof operation without adversely affecting the educational goals of thecommunity.

    The administrative staff will be under the direction of theSuperintendent of Schools, and will be appointed by the School Boardupon recommendation of the Superintendent.

    The administrative staff will initiate, coordinate and supervise allmatters relating to the teaching-learning process, in accordance withthe mission of the division as defined by the School Board.
