The programme of MERSİN ROTARY CLUB “Beauty Over the Sea (SAILING)”

The programme will give chance to the young people to learn how to sail during the camp and have

a certificate. During the whole week they will have sailing lesson in the afternoon.

It is very important for exchange students who are under 18, they suppose to bring the permission

for swimming from their relatives.

Hotel Registration Cappadocia Tour, Turkish Night!

Our guest students will all stay with families. Mersin Rotary Club members will deliver up the

students at the Cappadocia to Samsun Rotary Club members on Saturday (06.07.2019). Sailing

Courses will be given by the experienced teachers.

The sailing Course includes 3 days in the sea. All participants will be receiving PARTICIPATION

CERTIFICATES at the end of the program.

& Turkish Folk Dances)

While the general theme of our short term Exchange program is “Natural and Cultural

Beaut ies of Turkey From South to North”; our aim for this part icular year is to

specially focus on Turkish Art and Folk Dances from Past to Present & from South to

north of Turkey.

Workshops to be organized during the camp can be summarized as follows:

• Folk dances of Samsun and other regional folk dances from all over Turkey

(misket, çiftetelli, Roman, kolbast ı etc.)

• Tradit ional Turkish handicrafts recognized all over Turkey and the World for

centuries.

• Marbling Art, Edirne KARİ Art, Lithograpy for which part icipants will be

receiving PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATES at the end of the program.

The Program to start on:

6th of July (Saturday)

To meet with Mersin Rotary Club in Cappodocia and check in to hotel. Saturday

afternoon to start to exploring Cappadocia historical and natural beaut ies. And return

to hotel and have dinner at auhent ic restaurant

7st of July (Sunday)

After having breakfast at the hotel we will go shopping in cappodocia and visit hand

made carpet place. Sunday afternoon we will be heading to North. Arrival from

Cappodocia and deliver ing students to families at Sunday evening.
