Baroda Management Association had organized its 30thAnnual Management Convention at the Gateway Hotel (TAJ)on 5th and 6th Oct’2018.

Baroda Management Association provides a commonplatform responding to the management education needsof the academic institutions and industries. The activitythat kicked off this year was a 22nd BUSINESS SIMULATIONGAME COMPETITION organized by All India ManagementAssociation to inculcate the business problem solvingacumen among participants mainly young professionalsand university students about- to step out to the real worldthrough holistic thinking and an innovative and creativeapproach. Baroda management association with thesupport of ITM Universe hosted the program.
In all twenty eight teams representing 6 universitiesparticipated in the competition. The program was
inaugurated by the President- Mr.Rajiv Thakkar, Chief GuestDr. Nirmit Jha (Managing Director at ASTA India Pvt Ltd),Guest of Honor Dr.Baba Pai(Director-ITM Universe) and Mr.D.K. Gupta(Director- Student Management Games),representative from All India Management Association.
It was a three days event with Grand finale on the 25thOct’18. The first place was bagged by Team 1 from PacificUniversity, Udaipur. The first runner-up was team ITMUniversity and the 2nd runner-up was Team 2 PacificUniversity, Udaipur. The valedictory function was graced byMr. Premraj Keshyep, MD, KYB Conmat. He shared hispersonal life experience which inspired all the studentspresent at the event.
