• Special skills may be developed through specialized education programs OR on-the-job training
Work-Based Learning • Cooperative education, paid employment with an
educational component provided in a supervised by school personnel
• Internships, observe and participate in activities related to a career field, paid or unpaid
• Apprenticeship, learns an occupation under the guidance and direction of a skilled worker 3-4 year training program• Journey Worker, a certified, experienced, skilled craftsperson
that has successfully completed an apprenticeship program• On-the-job Training, education and training provided
