1. Stand-Up Comedians

Most Difficult Things In The World - Even The Most Famous Comedians Can Be Hit Or

Miss.

Most People Make The Mistake Of Watching Dry Speeches And Keynotes When They

Are Preparing For A Talk... And They Can Barely Get Through Them.

Take A Note From The True Masters Of Speaking And Performance - Stand-up

Comedians. Notice Their Delivery, Rehearsed Spontaneity, Memorization, Emotional

Expression, And Constant Use Of Stories To Prove A Point.

Above All Else, Just Observe How Casually And Off-The-Cuff They Appear To Speak To

Their Audience. They Humanize Themselves, And In Turn, Capture Their Attention.

2. Warm Up

Our Vocal Cords, Sense Of Wit, And Delivery Skills - These Are All Muscles That You

Need To Warm Up, Just Like Athletes Before A Big Match Or Game.

Ideally, Your Warm Up Should Make You Feel Like You're In "The Zone" - My Favorite

Warm Up Is To Simply Read A 200-Word Passage (Hopefully With Dialogue, Emotion,

And Different Characters) Out Loud.

Exaggerate All Of The Emotions And Vocal Inflections And Pay Attention To Your

Breathing And Your Diaphragm. Do This Three Times Total And Notice The Difference

Between The Last Time And The First!

3. The Audience

Do Some Cursory Research And Make Sure You Know Who You're Talking To.

Humour, Emotion, And Logic Can Be Incredibly Situation And Context-Specific.

Speak Your Audience's Language Or Instantly Lose Credibility.
