Three Personal Object Still Life Drawing: Students will apply their knowledge to create a still life using shading, Da’vinci’s Rules of Light, space and composition, staggered baselines, line quality and speed, and textural gesture. 1. Students will arrange 3 personal objects in a still life. 2. Students will pre sketch the arrangement and overlay a rule of thirds grid to it for planning composition. 3. Students will block in the forms using the space of the paper well, making sure they stagger the baseline and show overlapping forms. 4. Students will then identify and shade the light side, dark side, cast shadow, reflected light and cast shadow areas of each form. 5. Students will add detail and texture to finish the drawing. 6. Students will self evaluate by filling out a rubric sheet. 7. Students will photograph their work, then turn in for evaluation. 8. Three  Personal  Object  Still  Life  Drawing:  Students  will  apply  their  knowledge  to  create  a  still  life  using  shading,  Da’vinci’s  Rules  of  Light,  space  and  composition,  staggered  baselines,  line  quality  and  speed,  and  textural  gesture.
