to the Commissioner, Information & Public Relations oepartrnent, AP, Vijayawadafor publication of notice in the leading Telugu/English news papers of Andhra

Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

In this regard I am here with submitting the list of vehicles for uploading in

the Forest Department website to display the details of seized vehicles involved in

the forest offences duly providing proper opportunity to the vehicle owners to

appear personally or through advocated within fifteen (15) days from the date of

publication before the Authorized Officer-cum-Sub-Divisional Forest Officer, Tirupati

for enquiry.

It is to inform that, the staff of Forest Department pertaining to Tirupati,Srikalahasti, Puttur and Sathyavedu Range jurisdictions has seized the following 40vehicles while they were being used in illicit transportation of Red Sanders woodwithout any valid permit and without any Government transit marks. Suchtransportation of Red Sanders material is an offence under A.P.Forest Act-1967,A.P. Red Sanders & Sandal Wood Transit Rules 1969 & IPC.

The owners of the above vehicles are requested to submit theirrepresentations either the person or through their advocates along with relevantdocuments pertaining to the above vehicles before the undersigned officer(Authorized-cum-Sub-Divisional Forest Officer, Tirupati) within fifteen (15) days ofpublication of this notice duly explaining the reasons as to why the above vehiclesshould not be confiscated to the state as per the Section 44 (2-a) (2-b) ofA.P.Forest Act-1967.
