3 DAY WEEKEND – ORPHAN BLACK: DONNIE FINDS HIS BACKBONE June 16th, 2014 By Jovel Johnson
“Things Which Have Never Yet Been Done”
Donnie and Alison are getting rid of Leekie’s body, but Donnie isn’t holding up too well. Alison, surprisingly, has to
be the rock. They find out the Dyad Institute is lying about his whereabouts, so they see it as the perfect
opportunity to hide his body without anybody knowing. They decide to bury him in their garage…under concrete.
Turns out Alison is very handy with a jackhammer. Isn’t that body going to start smelling after a while? Yikes!
Henrik is implanting Helena’s embryos into her. The Proletheans are trying to acclimate her to her surroundings
by making her play with the kids in school. She is taken with a little girl who seems to be taken with her too
(they’re playful with each other). After story time with Henrik, the kids are told to take their naps but the little girl
wants to touch Helena’s hair. The teacher is not too pleased and is a little rough with her. Helena doesn’t like it
and threatens her while holding her by the neck against the wall.
“If you touch her again, I will gut you….like a fish.” It’s not her fault; she didn’t know how crazy Helena is. She
knows now.
But that’s not really what Helena should be paying attention to. Henrik has a wider plan for her embryos. He also
implanted them in Gracie, his daughter. He plans to REALLY let them multiply. Gracie is not too happy about
carrying her father’s children (who would?). He plans to impregnate all the women there.

Rachel is giving Delphine Leekie’s place as Director of Dyad but Delphine is not too trusting. Delphine has to
make major decisions though, because Cosima’s condition is worsening, spreading all through her body. Now it’s
in Delphine’s hands to persuade Sarah to bring Kira in for them to use her bone marrow to get the proper genetic
sequence to cure the clones. Understandably, Sarah is not onboard with that. Whether or not she’ll eventually
change her mind is another matter.
After last week’s health scare (last week she fell to the floor convulsing and coughing blood), Cosima, filled with
tubes, has an online chat with Sarah and Alison. She’s feeling a little better now, just a bit shaken. And of course,
Alison is more shaken up than everybody else.
There is now a plan that Mrs. S. and Sarah are seriously thinking about. To save Cosima’s life, instead of bringing
Kira into Dyad, they plan on using Mrs. S’s friend at the hospital to retrieve Kira’s bone marrow and then they’ll
bring to it to Delphine and Rachel. That way, they’ll have better control over the situation. But for any of that to
happen Kira would have to agree with it. They explain the plan to Kira, and as usual, she’s a brave little soul. She
agrees to do it. At the hospital they plan to start the procedure. Delphine shows up but Mrs. S. makes sure that
she is nowhere near Kira unless necessary.
“You can stay here until they are ready for you.”
Alison and Donnie try to get rid of Vic. They need to bury Leekie’s body. (carlost.net)
The operation is a success and they get all the bone marrow they need for Cosima. They promise that Kira will be
OK and that Cosima will now have a good chance.
Duncan’s genetic key has successfully opened the genetic sequence and it is now ready for testing. Duncan just
wants to make sure that Dyad isn’t going to use it for its own evil purposes.
Meanwhile, Alison and Donnie are making headway in Leekie’s “burial” but they are visited by Vic, who’s
obviously trying to get information about Aynsley. But Alison smelled the rat and kicked him out. He came back
and was desperately trying to see what they were doing in their garage. Luckily, before he could see anything
incriminating, Donnie surprises him with a gun to this head. Inside they try to find out why he’s there and Donnie
(with some newfound balls) threatens to kill him. He confesses that a cop (Angie) is outside in a van waiting for
him for more evidence. But Angie gets a surprise when Donnie goes into the van with Vic. He leaves nothing
unclear when he told her to leave him and his family alone.
“You come near me and my family again and I will bury you.” He takes a picture of them both and tells them to
have a crappy day.
Marion Bowles stops by Dyad to find out if Rachel has everything under control. She seems to, because one of
Mrs. S’s longtime cohorts seems to be one of Rachel’s field agents. Delphine sees his confidential (not anymore)
information. Will she alert Sarah or Mrs. S.?
Gracie is slowly trusting Helena. (hypable.com)
Helena tries to escape in the middle of the night and she’s surprised that Gracie wants to go with her. But they
don’t even get to leave the room. Henrik walks in, shotgun in hand, telling them to go back to bed. They stand up
to him, but he hits Helena and plans to let Gracie take the fall. He locks her up, but she doesn’t stay there long.
Mark comes in, angry about her being locked up as well as Henrik impregnating her with the Helena’s embryos
he fertilized with his own sperm.
“You’re not locking her up again.”
With that said, Helena jumps on Henrik’s back, allowing Gracie and Mark to escape. Helena turned the tables on
Henrik, “impregnating” him (you don’t want know. Maybe you can use your imagination), and them burning the
whole compound down (where’s everybody else? The kids?). She runs off with the container holding the rest of
the embryos.
Delphine goes back to the hospital to talk to Sarah about what she saw. She tells her the man working with Mrs.
S. could be compromised. Sarah goes to the room to get Kira. Felix is confused. But, it’s not Sarah. It’s Rachel
dressed as Sarah. She jams a syringe full of stuff into Felix’s neck and he passes out. The information about Mrs.
S.’s associate was a trick. Rachel has now kidnapped Kira. She wants to raise her as her own.
