The training focuses on making the participants feel comfortable in a foreign country by learning the culture, language, the ins and outs of transportation and more! Participants will be part of interactive sessions, city tour, Spanish lessons, information conferences, and various activities to help them come 100% familiar with their new environment. PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS The Cross-Cultural and Volunteer Training will improve your experience in the following way: Learn about the Ecuadorian and Latin American Culture Improve your Spanish Skills Feel secure and comfortable in a foreigner country Increase your cross-cultural skills Be Self confident to travel on your own to any country in the Latin American Region PROGRAM DATES AND ARRIVAL Participants should plan to arrive to Quito on Tuesday. Participants need to arrive to Quito’s International Airport: Mariscal Sucre. Our airport pick up transfer will be waiting for the participant at the airport and will take them to the hostel. On Wednesday morning Lead Adventures staff will meet the participants at the hostel and walk them to the office. The first day of the training is Wednesday. The training will take place on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Friday night

accommodation is included. On Friday volunteers will have the option to extend their stay at the same hostel, move to a host family etc. *There is only one training per month. 14:30-15:30 Transportation in Ecuador and how to travel in SA.

ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS Volunteers will be staying at one of our partner hostels. All hostels are located in the Mariscal Area. This is the tourist district where restaurants, bars, pubs, tour operators, Spanish schools and more can be found! Wednesday: Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Thursday: Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friday: Breakfast and lunch.
