RAMONA WINK is a licensed mental health counselor at 515 Therapy and Consulting in West Des Moines and a motivational speaker and change agent. While obtaining a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Drake University, Ramona honed her skills as a therapist by providing psychotherapy for a wide range of presenting issues to individuals, couples and groups in a variety of settings. She spent 14 years serving small congregations as a pastoral minister in the Des Moines area.

Ramona has a passion for assisting people of all walks of life in making positive changes in their lives. Ramona’s

areas of focus also include racial tensions, the mental health toll taken by the plight of farmers and the ag community, and young adults struggling to make the transition into the next phase of their lives.

In addition to her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health, Ramona obtained a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of Iowa and is a member of the Iowa Mental Health Counselors Association and the American Mental Health Counselors Association. She is the creator and host of the upcoming television program regarding mental health issues in Iowa “Mind If We Talk”.

DR. BILL WITHERS has nearly three decades of management and leadership experience in both business and education, and he is a two-time presenter at the International Conference on Business in Honolulu.

Bill has both studied and served organizations such as Proctor & Gamble, Ritz-Carlton, Disney, Four Seasons, Starbucks, and Southwest Airlines, and he was a contributing writer to three books in the areas of leadership and customer service.

After an early career working in media and marketing,

Bill spent 20 years in higher education, training, and development at Wartburg College where he was recently awarded Faculty Emeritus-status by their board upon his recent retirement there.

Today Bill serves on the executive-leadership team at Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines, the largest mainline evangelical church of its type in all of North America. Dr. Withers continues to specialize in the areas of public relations, customer service, organizational change, and leadership.

JEFF PLAGGE began his service as Iowa’s Superintendent of Banking in September 2019. Previous to the appointment, Plagge was president & CEO of Northwest Financial Corp. of Arnolds Park, Iowa. Northwest Financial Corp. is a two-bank, $2.3 billion, privately owned, financial services holding company. Plagge has served the banking industry in many capacities, including serving as the Chairman of both the American Bankers Association and the Iowa Bankers Association.

Outside of his current responsibilities, Plagge serves on the Northwest Financial Corp and subsidiary bank

boards, the Sheltered Harbor board and on the board of the American Bankers Mutual Insurance, LTD. He just completed his service as Chairman of The Clearing House Real Time Payments Advisory Committee.

Plagge is a former Board Member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, a past Chairman of the Chicago Federal Reserve Community Depository Institution Advisory Council and a past member of the Federal Reserve Bank’s Board of Governors Community Depository Institution Advisory Council in Washington DC.

DAVE ROEDERER is the director of the Iowa Department of Management, the department that has a multitude of responsibilities, the most visible of which is developing and tracking the Iowa budget. As such, he is one of the three individuals on the Revenue Forecasting Conference.

Dave joined Governor Branstad’s staff in his first term as Legislative Liaison and then went on to become his Chief of Staff. He left the Governor’s office to become

the Economic Development Coordinator at Iowa State University and later started his own consulting business specializing in strategic planning, project development and management, and policy development. The Iowa Chamber Alliance was one of his clients for which he served as Executive Director. When Governor Branstad was again elected the Governor of Iowa, Dave was asked to head the Department of Management.

Fairfield Iowa native KYLE McMAHON is the founder of Tractor Zoom and leads the company as CEO. Kyle is a 3rd generation entrepreneur and passionate about utilizing big data and tech to streamline business processes and decisions.

Prior to starting Tractor Zoom, he was the Director of Acquisitions for Summit Agricultural Group where he led a team to buy and sell farmland across the Midwestern corn belt. Kyle co-founded Buch-McMahon Lawn and Landscaping, in which he sold to his business partner in 2012.

Breakout Session SpeakersBEN HAYDEN manages the Risk Services team at SHAZAM, where he oversees a staff of external consultants, helping member institutions mitigate their risks in information technology, cybersecurity, physical security and BSA/ACH compliance.

Before joining the team at SHAZAM, Ben worked for a large community bank as their BSA/Information Security Officer, overseeing BSA, Fraud and Information Security. Prior to banking, Ben served as a police officer, where he worked primarily in investigations, focusing on financial crimes and digital forensics.

As a member of the firm’s Banking, Employment, and Trusts and Estates Law Practice Groups, DAVID GONZALES assists individuals and business clients in a variety of legal matters, including immigration and employment issues, trusts and estate law, banking law, and banking regulation. He also serves bank trust departments, helping resolve trust administration issues.

As a recent graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law, GRACE BOGART is a member of the firm’s Banking, Intellectual Property, Startup, M&A, Real Estate, and Trusts & Estates Law Practice Groups. Her practice is focused on assisting individuals, businesses, corporate clients, and business associations with a variety of legal services.
