With markets either stagnant or in decline in Europe and north America, eyes are on developing markets such as China, where growth in the personal care segment has continued at speed and the profits increases.
According to the statistics, more than 3,200 enterprises are engaged in cosmetics industry in China. The varieties of products have nearly more than 25,000. New products always constantly appear in large numbers. However, the quality of cosmetics products is in different degrees. Recently, Chinese government has released new inspection standards and regulation to strictly supervise the cosmetics safety.
