(enter on next page) — About The Award — SSgt. Andrew Nelson was an Eagle Scout from Troop 644 in Moorhead. He was a remarkable young man who exemplified the Scout Oath and the Scout Law and dedicated his life to serving others. Unfortunately, Andrew died August 29, 2007 in Iraq while serving his 4th Tour of Duty with the 82nd Airborne Division. SSgt Andrew Nelson lived his life unselfishly in service to others. We wish to honor his memory and recognize others in our community who exhibit the same kind of servant leadership as they work daily to make our community better. Please take a moment and nominate a member of your organization that you think would be a good candidate to be considered for this recognition. They do not have to be a member of your leadership team or a supervisor. Qualifications: 1) a great employee. 2) a veteran, and 3) someone who volunteers in the community. If they are selected, we will recognize them at the Heroes & Leaders Gala on Thursday, December 10, 2020, 7:00 pm at the Delta Hotel in Fargo.
