welcome!COME FOR THE CONGRESS, STAY FOR THE ADVENTURE
The World Veterinary Congress is one of the premier events of the veterinaryprofession worldwide. Planning is well under way for the 29th World
Veterinary Congress 2008 in Vancouver, Canada. The veterinary profession is asexciting and varied as are the multitude of individuals who compose itsmembership. In recognition of this fact, we have chosen the theme“CELEBRATE OUR DIVERSITY” for the 2008 Congress. This theme gives usthe opportunity to deliver a suitable, world-class, scientific program that will beof interest to all veterinarians, as well as para-veterinarians, veterinarytechnicians and others who partner in animal care. The Scientific ProgramCommittee is currently putting the finishing touches on an exciting multi-track,multi-discipline program.
1. The Clinical Practice/Private Practice track includes: small animalpractice, food animal practice, equine practice, aquaculture, laboratoryanimal and exotic practice as well as specialty practice.
2. The Public Practice/Public Health track will meet the needs of veterinariansengaged in government agencies, educational institutions, pharmaceuticalcompanies and other organizations. More details about the program areposted on the Congress website as they are finalized.
