Resolution No. 2013-2
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MOUNT HOLLY SPRINGS INSUPPORT OF THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
WHEREAS, the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States provides as follows:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep
and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
WHEREAS, the Borough Council of the Borough of Mount Holly Springs recognizes the importance of the
Second Amendment as it pertains to the founding of the United States of America and being among the
essential rights of citizens in this Country.
NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED by the Borough Council of the Borough of Mount Holly Springs
as follows:
The Borough Council of the Borough of Mount Holly Springs recognizes the right of law-abiding citizens to
purchase, own and possess firearms, free of unreasonable restraint and regulation.
RESOLVED, THIS 14th day of May, 2013 in public session duly assembled.
