NOTE:1.The S1-S2 contacts are closed in normaloperation.The S1 contact opens when channel 2 istested. The S2 contact opens when channel 1 istested.

2.Relays OST(1-4) are de-energized in normaloperation.Relays OST2 and OST4 are energized when theshaft speed exceeds 110% rating shaft speed. relayOST1 is energized when the shaft speed exceeds 114%rating shaft speed.Contacts from these relays causeboth auto stop channels to trip. relay OST3 is

energized when the speed channel is being tested.3.Contact of K1X relay opens during the mechanical

overspeed operation of the turbine generator when theOverspeed trip keyswitch is turn to the INHIBITposition. The contact closes in normal operation whenthe Overspeed trip keyswitch is turn to the INSERVICE position.4.The normally close contact from TOS1 relay closes

in normal operation. The contact opens when channel 1is tested.5.Contacts of OS11,OS21 and OS31 relays close when

the shaft speed exceeds 110% rating shaftspeed.Contact OS12,OS22 and OS32 relays close whenthe shaft speed exceeds 110% rating shaft speed.6.The coils of relays OS-1 and OS-2 will be

de-energized if two contacts of three overspeedrelays close.
