Chlor-Alkali Cycles: a new global equilibrium In this presentation we’ll explore the history of the chlor-alkali cycle, what
influences the cycle and what we can glean from the cycle pattern with respect to the future of caustic soda prices and the ECU value. We will examine the ways price can influence both chlorine and caustic demand growth. While there is not one specific item for either chlorine or caustic that moves the needle, the combination together of all items can eventually help sync up the demands or chlorine and caustic soda.
