1. Micro Innovation (MI) is sending back the ordered licence code in form of a batch- file (.bat) to the requested customer adress by Email. This batch- file take the name of the device serial number.
2. This batch- file can be written with a CompactFlash adapter on your PC or with an FTP connection (PC-MICRO PANEL) direct to the OS-FLASH-card.
3. To activate the license it needs to start this batch file on the MICRO PANEL itself with a double click.
4. After a restart of the MICRO PANEL or in the system informations menu it‘s possible to see the value of actual new license points.
5. So the license activity work steps are successfully finished. The new functionality is ready for use.

Onboard Kommunikation muss uns und dem Kunden etwas bringen
- Die Kundenpreise der Lizenzen müssen attraktiv gestaltet sein. Die heute verlangten Preise mit den Baugruppen verteuern unser System übermässig.
- Die gegenüber den heutigen Baugruppenverkäufen sinkenden Deckungsbeiträge müssen vertretbar bleiben.
- Die Handhabung des Lizenzierungsgeschäftes muss einfach und mit minimalstem Aufwand für uns und die Kunden möglich sein.
- Die Freigabe von zukünftigen weiteren Onboard Kommunikationen darf nicht nur technisch, sondern muss strategisch entschieden werden.
- Eine Differenzierung zwischen den beiden Kommunikationsarten muss nach Möglichkeit gewährleistet sein (z.B. RS232 Onboard ist ohne galvanische Trennung, bei Baugruppen mit).
- Die Lizenzierung ist gerätegebunden (Gerätetyp und Serienummer).
