FRAN BROWN SCHOLARSHIP

Keynote Speakers: Vision - Mindset - Grit! “Standing Up To Any Challenge”

Monday Keynote: Scott Burrows, Stand Up, Inc. Monday, June 10th, 2019

The true measure of success is how well you respond to change, self-doubt, setbacks and fear. Whatever belief system you employ must be powerful enough to conquer these obstacles and any other impediments to your personal and professional growth, or you—and your—organization will be left behind.

As audiences worldwide have discovered in this life-changing presentation, renowned speaker and author Scott Burrows’ own riveting story of overcoming adversity through sheer determination, willpower and goal-setting is uplifting and infectious. The dynamic principles in this keynote will inspire you and every member of your team to better understand the challenges that every injured worker experiences and how to assist them in gaining a level of empowerment and self- confidence.

“Building Better Relationships” Tuesday AM Keynote: Carl Van, International Insurance Institute, Inc.

Tuesday, June 11th, 2019 Carl Van, one of the most sought-after industry keynote speakers, is a leading expert on topics such as company morale, time management, business communication, and customer service which is critical no matter the industry.

In this interactive and sometimes humorous workshop, Carl will demonstrate real-life skills that can help any workers’ compensation claims professional learn how to gain the injured worker trust while reducing their anxiety and improving their perception of how they are being treated.

“Dare to Lead” Tuesday PM Keynote: Stephanie Carroll, MSOD, Carroll Consulting Group

Tuesday, June 11th, 2019 Stephanie Carroll is a recognized leader in facilitating powerful change and growth in organizations across the globe. She is an expert in culture change, she holds a Masters degree in Organization Development and Change and advanced training and certifications in Dr. Brene Brown’s Dare To Lead Program, leadership and team coaching, conflict resolution and personality assessments.

Leadership is not about titles, status, and wielding power. A leader is anyone who takes responsibility for recognizing the potential in people and ideas, and has the courage to develop that potential. When we dare to lead, we don’t pretend to have the right answers; we stay curious and ask the right questions. We don’t see power as finite and hoard it; we know

that power becomes infinite when we share it with others. We don’t avoid difficult conversations and situations; we lean into vulnerability when it’s necessary to do good work. In this powerful session, Stephanie will challenge you to “Dare to Lead”!
