Some people argue that this process brings only benefits. Others, however, disagree and point out some serious drawbacks. This essay will depict both positive and negative aspects of this issue. Some positive aspects can be clearly seen. For example, by sharing the same values, both material and cultural, people reduce prejudice against other nations and countries. This obviously could help in reaching a peace and coexistence in the world. Moreover, one more aspect correlates to pure economic reason. For instance, there is strong evidence that increase of trade among countries correlates with higher state income of each nation and positive trade balance. It can be said that people who advocates that negative effects outweigh positive ones are concerned with weakening of national identity and culture. One good example is that younger generations tend to dress and behave like actors in foreign broadcasts and sitcoms. But honestly, this is only the minor issue. According to me, there are a lot of benefits and only minor disadvantages, therefore this process has been generally positive in its nature.
