Reservation is available for Persons with Disabilities under Section-33 of the Persons with

Visually Challenged [VC]:
(i) Blindness refers to a condition where a person suffers from any of the following conditions
namely (a) Total absence of sight or (b) Visual acuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200 {snellen} in the
better eye with correcting lenses; or (c) limitation of the field of vision subtending an angle of 20
degree or worse.
(ii)Low Vision means a person with impairment of visual functioning even after treatment or standard
refractive correction but who uses or is potentially capable of using vision for the planning or
execution of a task with appropriate assistive device.
Hearing Impairment [HI] means loss of 60 decibels or more in the better ear in the conversational
range of frequencies.
Orthopaedically Challenged [OC] All the cases of OC persons are covered under the category of
Locomotor disability or cerebral palsy.
Locomotor Disability means disability of the bones, joints or muscles leading to substantial restriction
of the movement of the limbs or any forms of cerebral palsy.
Cerebral Palsy means a group of non-progressive conditions of a person characterized by abnormal
motor control posture resulting from brain insult or injuries occurring in the pre-natal, peri-natal or
infant period of development. Only such persons would be eligible for reservation in services /
posts who suffer from not less than 40% of relevant disability

4.RELAXATION IN UPPER AGE LIMIT
(i) Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates - by 5 years;
(ii) Other Backward Classes candidates -by 3 years;

(iv) All persons who are ordinarily domiciled in Kashmir Division of J&K State during 01.01.80 to

Forces subject to a maximum of 50 years;
NOTE:
a) The relaxation in upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC candidates is allowed on cumulative basis with
only one of the remaining categories for which age relaxation is permitted as mentioned above in
Point No. 4 (iii) to 4 (vi)
b)Persons eligible for age relaxation under 4(iv) above must produce the domicile certificate at the
time of interview from the District Jurisdiction where he / she had ordinarily resided or any otherauthority designated in this regard by the Government of Jammu & Kashmir to the effect that the
candidate had ordinarily domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the State of J&K during the period from
01.01.80 to 31.12.89.
c) An Ex-servicemen who has once joined in a Govt. job on the civil side after availing the benefits
given to him as an Ex-servicemen for his re-employment, his Ex-servicemen status for the purpose
of re-employment in Government ceases.
Ex-servicemen candidates who have already secured employment under the Central Govt. in
Group C & D will be permitted the benefit of age relaxation as prescribed for Ex-servicemen for
securing another employment in a higher grade or cadre in Group C/D under the Central Govt.

There will be negative marks for wrong answers in Objective Test. The Descriptive Test is only forqualifying purpose. Bank will decide the minimum cut-off marks for each subject as well as TotalWeighted Score [TWS]. Depending on the number of vacancies, such of those candidates who rank
sufficiently high in the order of merit in the written test as per the cut off marks decided by the Bankwill only be called for interview. Mere eligibility / admission to the test / pass in the test does not imply
that the Bank is satisfied beyond doubt about the candidates eligibility and shall not vest any right ina candidate for being called for interview. The Bank reserves the right to call only the requisite
number of candidates for interview. have been shared and the scores obtained are not genuine / valid, the Bank reserves the right tocancel his / her candidature.14. GUIDELINES FOR USE OF SCRIBE IN THE WRITTEN TEST:
Wherever written examination is held, only those candidates who are blind and candidates whosewriting speed is affected by cerebral palsy can use scribe at their own cost during the written
examination. In all such cases, where a scribe is used, the following rules will apply:1) The candidate will have to arrange for the scribe at his / her own cost.
2) The academic qualification of the scribe should be one grade lower than the stipulated minimumeligibility criteria.3) The scribe can be from any academic stream and should possess marks less than the candidate
but in any case not more than 60% in his own academic stream.
4) The candidate as well as the scribe will have to give a suitable undertaking confirming that the
scribe fulfils all the stipulated eligibility criteria for a scribe as mentioned above. Further, in case itlater transpires that he/she did not fulfil any of the laid down eligibility criteria or suppressed any
material facts, the candidature of the applicant will stand cancelled, irrespective of the result of thewritten test.
5) Such candidates who use a scribe shall be eligible for extra time of 20 minutes for every hourof examination.15.GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS [FOR ALL POSTS]:

PAY AND ALLOWANCES
During the Anitial training period, stipend of Rs. 5700/pm will be adsmissiblebut on successful completion of initial training an amount equal to the
minimum of scale as mentioned below, less stipend already paid, shall
be admissible with retrospective effect.
On completion of initial training, they will be placed in the Pay Band
Rs.5200/- 20200. In addition they will be paid Grade Pay @ Rs. 2000/-

PROMOTION AND PERQUISITESPromotion: Promotion prospects exists up to the rank of Master Chief
Petty Officer-I (equivalent to Subedar Major). Opportunites for promotion
to commissioned officer also exist for those who perform well, qualify

condition stipulated from time to time.
Perquisites:
During the entire period of training and thereafter, sailors are given

TRAINING AND INTIAL ENGAGEMENT
Training: The initial traning for the course will be conducted at INS Chilka
followed by professional training in the allotted trade in various Naval

Discharge as Unsuitable: Sailors are liable to be discharged as UNSUITABLE
due to unsatisfactory performance at any time during the training.

of traingin. The initial engagement is of 15 years.

Will regularly coordinate and monitor the activities of GP/Village motiva-tors (SHGs, NGOs, PRIs, Individuals, etc.) engaged for communitymobilization and try to involve the members of Gaon Kalyan Samities,VSS, VEC, Pani Panchayats for IHL installation and social mobilization.
She/He will undertake verification of construction of sanitation facilitiesin HHs, Schools and AWCs to ensure their usability by beneficiaries.

NATIONALITY/CITIZENSHIP:The applicant must be either: a. a citizen of India, orb. a subject of.Nepal, orc. a subject of Bhutan, ord. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before 1st January, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in
India, ore. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya,Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia andVietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. (iv) Up to,the maximum of5 years to the candidates of Jammu andKashmir who have ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu and Kashmir during the period from 1.1.1980 to31.12.1989. (v) Up to a maximum of35 years of age (up to 40 years formembers of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes and 38 years for OBC) in the case of widows, divorced women andwomen judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried subject to production of copy of the
judgement/decree of the appropriate Court to prove the fact of divorce or the judicial separation. (vi) Up to amaximum ofthree years (8 years for SC/ST and 6 years for OBCs candidates) in the case of Defence Personneldisabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence
thereof. (vii) No age relaxation is allowed to SC/ST/OBC candidates against unreserved posts, (viii) As per orders of.the Comptroller & Auditor General of India, casual workers, who have been earlier engaged at least for two years inthe concerned offices of the Indian Audit & Accounts Department to which the vacancies relate, will also be eligiblefor age relaxation to the extent of period of their engagement as -casual labourers. This relaxation would be over andabove the relaxation admissible to the SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Servicemen candidates. 3 (C) Age concession for Ex-Servicemen will be allowed in accordance with extant Government orders issued, by the Government from time totime asindicated below: Ex-Servicemen, fulfilling the conditions laid down by the Government from time totime, shall be allowed to deduct military service from their actual age and such resultant age should notexceed the prescribed age limit by more than 3 years (6 years in case of OBC and 8 years in case of SC/ST).Ex-servicemen candidates allowed under this age concession will be eligible to compete for all thevacancies whether reserved for them or not.EXPLANATION: An Ex-Servicemen means a person who has served in any rank whether as a combatant or a non-combatant in the Regular Army, Navy, Air Force of the Indian Union, and (i) who retired from such service afterearning his/her pension. This would also i nclude persons who are retired/retire at their own request but after havingearned their pension; or (ii) who has been released from such service on medical grounds attributable to militaryservice/ circumstances beyond his control and awarded medical or other disability pension; or (iii) who has beenreleased, otherwise than on his own request from such service as a result of reduction in establishment; or(iv) who has been released from such service after completing the specific period of engagements, otherwise thanat his own request or by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency, and has been givena gratuity; and includes personnel of the Territorial Army of the following categories, namely:-a) Pension holders for continuous embodied service,b) Persons with disability attributable to militaryservice, and c) Gallantry award winners.Note (i) : Ex-servicemen who have already joined government job in civi l side after availing of the benefits given toex-servicemen for their re-employment are also eligible for the age concession. However, such candidates will notbe eligible for the benefit of reservation as Ex-Servicemen.Note (ii): The period of Call up Service of an. Ex-Servicemen in the Armed Forces shall also be treated aservicerendered in the Armed Forces for the purpose of Para 3 (C) above. Note (ill): For any service member of the three
Armed Forces of the Union to be treated as Ex-Serviceman for the purpose of securing the benefits of reservation,he must .have already acquired, at the relevant time of submitting his application for the Post/Service, the statusof ex-serviceman and/or is in a position to establish his acquired entitlement by documentary evidence from the
competent authority that he would complete specified term of engagement from the Arrned Forces within the
stipulated period of one year from the CLOSING DATE (23th day & from the publishing of the notice).Note (iv) : AGE CONCESSION IS NOT ADMISSIBLE TO THE SONS, DAUGHTERS AND DEPENDENTS OF EX-SERVICEMEN.EXPLANATION:The persons serving in the Armed Forces of the Union, who on retirement from service, would comeunder the category of Ex-Servicemen may be permitted to apply for re-employment one year before the completionof the specified terms of engagements and avail themselves of all concessions available to ex-servicemen but shallnot be permitted to leave the uniform until they complete the specified term of engagement in the Armed Forces of
the Union: SAVE AS PROVIDED ABOVE, THE AGE LIMITS PRESCRIBED ABOVE, SHALL IN NO CASE BERELAXED.3 (D) PROOF OF AGE- The date of birth as recorded in the Matriculation Certificate or in a certificate recognised asequivalent to Matriculation. No other documents like horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts from MunicipalCorporation, service records and the like will be accepted. Birth Certificates issued by Municipalities/Municipal Corporations are however admissible. However, if the casual workers engaged in IA & AD, inwhose case the minimum required educational qualification would continue to be 8th class pass, are nonMatriculate, they will be required to submit a certificate indicating their Date of Birth as per records of theInstitution from the recognised Educaiicnal Institution, from where they have passed 8th class, dulycountersigned by the Inspector of Schools/District Education Officer.Note 1: Candidates should note that only the date of birth as recorded in the certificate submitted along with theapplication will be accepted by the office and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.Note 2; Candidates should also note that once a date of birth has been claimed by them and entered in the recordsof the office for the purpose, no change will be allowed subsequently one any grounds whatsoever.Note 3: The candidate should exercise due care while entering their date of birth in the Application Form.
