Duration1. Pass SPM/ SPMV with at least three (3) credits including Mathematics; OR2. Pass O-level with at least Grade C in three (3) subjects including Mathematics; OR3. Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least Grade B in three (3) subjects including Mathematic; OR 4. Pass STPM or equivalent with at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in one (1) subject AND Pass Mathematic AND English AND Science/ Technical/ Vocational Education at SPM level (or equivalent); OR5. Pass STAM rank “Maqbul” AND Pass Mathematic at SPM level (or equivalent); OR6. Obtained Certificate (MQF level 3) in the relevan field of Higher Education (PPT) which is recognized by Malaysian Government with 2.00 minimum CGPA; OR7. Obtained Certificate in Vocational/ Technical/ Community College Certificate/ Sijil Kemahiran (SKM level 3) with one (1) year of working experience in related field OR one (1) semester Bridging Program AND Pass SPM with at least one (1) credit; OR8. Any equivalent qualification recognize by Malaysian Government.

GIS application helps in environment management field, urban planning, logging, health application matters and petroleum. GIS allows us to view, understand, question, interpret, and visualize data in many ways that reveal relationships, patterns, and trends in the form of maps, globes, reports, and charts.

GEOMATIKA has intended to generate more skillful and creative undergraduate in a collaborative GIS environment. As for Diploma in GIS, our aim to produce students with fully equipped skills in handling GIS software, data digitizing and support GIS application development.

1. Pass STPM with at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in two (2) subjects and credit in Mathematic at SPM level; OR2. Pass STAM rank “Jayyid” AND credit in subject Mathematic at SPM level (or equivalent); OR3. Pass GCE A-level with at least pass in two (2) subjects including Mathematics; OR4. Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with Grade B in five (50 subjects including Mathematic; OR5. Pass Foundation Program in related course from PPT certified by government with 2.00 minimum CGPA AND credit Mathematic at SPM level (or equivalent); OR6. Pass Matriculation in the relevan field recognized by Malaysian Government with 2.00 minimum CGPA AND credit Mathematic at SPM level (or equivalent); OR7. Pass Diploma (MQF level 4) in related course with 2.50 minimum CGPA AND credit Mathematic at SPM level (or equivalent); OR8. Pass Diploma in Geographic Information System (GIS) from Geomatika Unversity College with 2.50 minimum CGPA AND Pass Mathematic at SPM level (or equivalent); OR9. Other qualification certified by the Government of Malaysia.

BSc GIS program is developed to produce GIS Executive that serve in higher order thinking skills. Our aim to produce future graduates that are capable in developing GIS application to solve the current issues with GIS.

This program main is focusing on open source technology, related software hands-on, project management and building index modeling (BMI) which highly and demand skills need by the recent GIS market. With this aim and focus, we do believe that our future graduates will be accepted in the market easily with higher scheme salary compared to any other. We are also part of UNIGIS International Association, a premier body in GIS education.
