FROM 277th FRSA: Construction on the Military Road and Mt Belve-

dere Blvd intersection will begin 30 Apr 12 - 04 May 12. Because of this construction, Military Road from Mt Belvedere Blvd to Main Street will be closed and traffic will be shifted on Mt Belvedere Blvd between Hwy 342 and the Mt Belvedere ACP Gate.

There are rewards for those who learn to persevere. Perseverance merely means a person

learns to fight through the pain, the challenges, the discouragement and the weariness of the

battle. The rewards are the accomplishments, the finances or the goals that would be lost if

the person had given up and quit.

Dr. C. E. Welch was a man who understood the value of persevering against all odds. He was

the founder of Welch's Grape Juice. His company manufactured the grape juice that was

known as "unfermented wine." His life was a testimony of those who persevere until they ac-

complish their passion. Welch said the following:

"Many men fail because they quit too soon. They lose faith when the signs are against

them. They do not have the courage to hold on, to keep fighting in spite of that which

seems insurmountable. If more of us would strike out and attempt the "impossible," we

very soon would find the truth of that old saying that nothing is impossible...abolish

fear and you can accomplish anything you wish."

What challenge is attempting to cause you to quit? What fear is trying to get you to back off

from your goal? Fight through the pain. Fight through the discouragement. Let new strength

fill your being. Your reward is in front of you. Don't quit until you receive it!
