Stewardship is vital and the generosity of sharing our treasure helps us to grow in trust of God’s plan for us. Each day, we as a parish, are called to serve and proclaim and this requires the work of each and every member of the community. We are asked to share of our time, talent and treasure to help in the work of Kingdom of God. We thank God for your generosity and continued support of our parish programs. In the coming week we will present to you our parish financial status as we work to be good stewards of the gifts you share as continue to seek ways to proclaim the good news. In the coming months we will be embarking on a Capital Improvement campaign that will require sac-rificial giving as we do the necessary work on our parish buildings. I would ask that we all pray for this campaign with more information to be shared with the parish in the future.

Last but not least, our parish festival is around the corner. St. Lucy Food & Fun Fest (October 6-8) is an annual tradition where we follow the invitation to celebrate as community. Invite a friend to come and join us.

Tacos For Sale! After the Masses TODAY!

Did you know that St. Lucy has more than 100 volunteer Catechists? These volunteers need training and formation as they better are formed the better our children, teens and adults will be.

The Religious Education Con-gress offers more than 200 speakers presenting over 300 workshops for cate-chists and other ministers.

In order to offset major costs for the catechists and ministers to attend the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress we are selling delicious TACOS after the Masses starting with the 11 AM Mass.

¿Usted sabía que Santa Lucía tiene más de 100 voluntarios Catequistas? Estos voluntarios ne-cesitan entrenamiento y formación, ya que lo

mejor que están formados lo mejor que nuestros niños, adolescentes y

adultos serán.

El Congreso de Educación Religiosa ofrece más de 200 oradores que presentan más de 300 talleres para

catequistas y otros ministe-rios.

Con el fin de compensar los cos-tos para que los catequistas y minis-

tros asistan al Congreso de Educación Religio-sa de los Ángeles estamos vendiendo delicio-sos tacos después de las misas a partir de la Misa de 11 am.
