The Model 25DL PLUS is an advancedprecision thickness gage with a host ofstandard measurement features and asophisticated alphanumeric, file-based datalogger. What sets this unique gage apart from others isits large LCD that displays both the live ultrasound waveform and the thickness reading. Thiswaveform or A-Scan is ideal for turbine blade inspections and any other applications where the userneeds to ensure proper transducer alignment.

The 25DL PLUS has 25 default transducer setups for direct contact, delay line and immersiontransducers. The gage also offers 35 custom transducer storage locations making it easy for the userto store and recall special transducer setups for almost any thickness gaging application.

Mode 1: Time interval between excitation pulse andfirst backwall echo. Using contact transducers.

Mode 2: Time interval between the first interfaceecho after the excitation pulse and the first backwallecho. Using delay line or immersion transducers.

Mode 3: Time interval between successive backwallechoes following the first interface echo after theexcitation pulse. Using delay line or immersiontransducers.

INTERNAL DATALOGGER

Datalogger and RS-232: The 25DL PLUS identifies,stores, recalls, clears, and transmits thicknessreadings, waveform images, and gage setupinformation via the RS-232 Serial Port. Baud Rate,Word Length, Stop Bits, and Parity are adjustablefrom the keypad.
