ANCILLARY

My ancillary task deliver great quality as it captures the essences of my research task which I have implemented into this task. My research showed that consistency was important.

Whilst doin my reasearch for my ancillary I analysed gwen stefani , eminem and kanye west all these real products worked well and in some of these artist video they,ve used certain aspects from their cd designs. Kanye west is famously recognised with the bear which he has used in his graduation video and many others. Album graduation.

The cd cover in the background and cd cover this artist has used elements jus like his video. The bear is used throughout and is on his late registration cover which I analysed

My a4 poster does have some similarities. Artist standing against a brick wall in both task wearing a hat. Kept artist representation the same strong urban connotations. Maturing as a hip hop artist has the look of mario, ne-yo

Artist looking less grime more hip hop. His clothing is very different. Adhere more to hip hop instead of grime conventions and codes.

Wearing a cap costume styles are consistent.

OVERALL

Both product are effective as they capture hip hop and rnb features we were going for. We didn't want our artist to adhere to typical grime and hip hop features. We wanted him to look more hip hop/ rnb. I believed this was captured well through mise-en-scene. We used various camera shots in both products.
