Indoor Security

The inside of the building is equip with a metal detector & keying systems on all doors.

A security room is located inside the building, near the front entrance.

It is manned by one security guard at all times. There are a total of seven security guards, equip with

radios and weapons in the building. There are also numerous cameras located throughout

each room.

Security Requirements

Must be of legal age with no prior felony’s. Must be able to pass drug screening. Must be able to work in the united states. Must have proof of valid identification. Must be able to pass all required training

courses.

Training courses

First Aid/ CPR Emergency Response Firearms Training

Level 1 Security: Role of security, basic state law, intro to criminal justice, Patrol and observation techniques, interviewing and communications techniques, report writing and procedures, office safety, and field training.

Security Weapons

After passing firearms training, security guards will carry a Glock that holds 19 rounds.

Which is to be cleaned and inspected after every time it is fired. If it is not fired it is to be cleaned and inspected once a month.

They will also carry a baton, mace, and handcuffs.

Staff Security

Employees must use biometric security systems to enter the building.

Keypads with set passwords are on all doors. Each employee will be assigned to a certain computer

with a personal password. All key cards must be turned in at the end of every

shift. Identification and fingerprints will be used the

following morning to gain key card back for the next shift.

Deliveries

All shipments will occur in the AM hours prior to opening.

Delivery truck will pull right to the staff door and will be guarded by two guards at all times.

Deliveries will be inspected prior to entering or leaving the building.

Codes on the labels must match codes on statements. Brinks security will deliver all deposits to the bank.

Fire Protection

Surveys are to conducted once a month; that includes testing on all equipment.

Employees are given an opportunity to practice their plan by participating in a drill.

They are then timed and evaluated. Adjustments are made as requested.

Potential Bombing Situations

A plan is developed to maintain control over this particular situation.

Employees will receive awareness training on bomb threat and extortion.

If a threat occurs, as a safety measure, the building will be evacuated.

A search of the building will be conducted by staff, unless a specialized dog is there with higher authorities.

Hostage Incident

Employees are trained in CPR & First Aid in case of any harm during this incident.

Main goal is to stay calm and try not to draw attention to ones self.

When possible help as many people as possible escape.

Don’t Try to be A “Hero”!

Unruly Mob Situation

Stay calm! Call the local police and fire department for

assistance. Try to deescalate the situation by finding the main

source of the problem and removing it from the area. Once officials arrive communicate the problem to

them and help coordinate the plan. Be as helpful as possible.
