Romans 12:1-13 Bottom Line: We can make a greater impact: when we call others to belong The first 3 weeks of August: Belonging: wk1 Destiny We can change our eternal destination: when we belong to God. Belonging: wk2 Worship We can grow in our worship: when we belong to a faith community. Belonging: wk3 Impact We can impact our world: when we belong to God’s purposes. What's your favourite food? Do you know why it is and when it became your favourite food? There was a time when your favourite food wasn't your favourite food, it was just; food, but there was a day, an occasion when perhaps someone offered you their fork and said; "Try this..." What we all don't have; is a favourite everything, that's not how we're made. Colours, foods, times of the year, every manner of selection and choice in the world, we'll have some as more favourable and likeable and enjoyable to us than others. As we consider what the best expression of ourselves looks like as people following Christ; we can be guided in the how to's of making an invitation to others through today’s scripture, what we might call; offering the fork of faith! Practice hospitality. We can make a greater impact: when we call others to belong (in love) Psalm 34:8 says; 'Taste and see that the Lord is good.' It says that the Lord is good, that the bit that you enjoy going back to again and again, like that yummy treat you like, is good enough to offer on a faith fork to someone else; as the best thing they must try! Look for opportunities this week to be the invitation without trying too hard to be! Ask God to help you grow in your passions, abilities and gifting and let those be the areas you use to be the invitation of who God is to others. Offer the fork of faith so others may be able to taste and see that the Lord is good!

What a richness the Church contains!

People you never knew nor had the intention of knowing, colliding with your life in a dynamic known as; Christian community; dynamic discipleship.
