The event will bring together key players and architects of the rapidly expanding fintech/insurtech sector: representatives of a mature financial sector, start-ups, firms which challenge the traditional bu-siness models, investors, private equity funds, the capital market, and also firms and institutions handling Big Data pro-jects in key economic sectors (expected number of people attending - 1500).
The purpose for which FutureTech came about was to create a neutral platform for sharing ideas and experiences of firms and institutions that have an impact on the way the sectors grow. The broad spec-trum of case studies will not only make it possible to get to know the market trends, it will also help with education of sectors which are getting ready to adapt to the demands of the digital revolution.
Being responsible for ensuring that the event focuses as much possible on the substantive issues, the Advisory Councils and a wide network of ambassadors for the project guarantee that an environ-ment will be created which is conducive to forming new business alliances, imple-mentation of new business models, and the providing of support for research pro-jects. This will help to bring about creation of highly profitable projects and products, leading in turn to growth of the econo-mies functioning in this part of Europe.
A b o u t Fu t u r e Te c h
In the era of digital expansion, economic growth based largely on modern tech-nologies, and rapid change taking place in key sectors, resulting from the need to adapt to new needs and demands of di-gital customers, we are glad to present a project that responds to these challenges.
FutureTech is an event that consists of three projects taking place simultane-ously: FinTech Digital Congress, InsurTech Congress and BIG DATA: Think Big CEE Congress.
The topics covered at the congress, which include a broad range of financial issues and big data issues, have been tailored to meet the content consumption needs of people who are responsible for digital transformation and innovative develop-ment of business enterprises, and people who are responsible for directly imple-menting those innovations within their sectors.
The substantive issues covered during the congress, which focus on both ma-cro- and microeconomic subject areas, mean that a holistic view can be obtained of the areas in which key markets are de-veloping technologically, and this in turn makes it possible to prepare for transfor-mation and to gain a competitive edge.

FinTech Digital Congress CEE will be an exclusive forum for sharing ideas of key players and architects of the rapidly growing Fintech sector:
ū Representatives of a mature fi nancial sector
ū Start-ups and businesses which challenge the traditional business models,
ū Investors, private equity funds and the capital market.
Digitalisation, technological advances, innovative business models, and unifying of the services market is driving the ra-pid growth of the Fintech sector, with an ever broadening impact on the current and future layout of the fi nancial services market. In addition to creating new va-
lues, the enormous potential of this relatively new sector is also causing the traditional players to become more active, stimulating them to address the growing needs of modern consumers in a better way.
The need for ideas and capital to be combined in an eff ective way, anticipation of the chan-ging requirements of digital customers, the professional way in which services are now provided, and legislative chan-ges have given rise to a need for a neutral platform for sharing experiences, presenting solu-tions, implementing best busi-ness practices, and transfer of technology between key market players and the new fi rms and institutions on that market. This is principally what the Fintech Digital Congress CEE is intended to do.

The growing technological aware-ness of customers, the expanding role of the mobile and internet channel, the need to make use of technological innovation both in-ternally (calculating risk, data analy-sis, automation of business proces-ses) and externally (creating new, innovative products, sales chan-nels, improving customer service) are reasons for the need to devise a new model for insurance com-panies and insuretechs to work together, which is precisely what the InsureTech Congress is mainly designed to do.

The most important kno-w-how of modern business is the knowledge about what data we have, how to understand them and how to use them in a busi-ness way. Information invariably is a basic and essential resource that guarantees functioning and company development.
Big Data Volumes are a challenge but also an opportu-nity to use lots of data that are generated both by the public, administration and business.
What the BIG DATA: Think Big CEE Congress is?
Big Data is the response to one of the most important bu-siness topics in the region, which are the ability to use data, com-munication between diff erent types of devices and creation of an ecosystem of products and services.
The event is a unique, prestigious and well-established on the market meeting of the most important representatives of each business sector, gover-nment and local administration, media and science specialists. At the same time it creates a unique opportunity to confront and ex-change experiences with experts in this specifi c and extremely fast developing unit of the business who are involved not only in the Big Data area, but also participa-ting in national and international market exchanges and engaged in practical use of technologies and solutions.
