1 Are all charts for the intended voyage and other nautical publications corrected up to date with all courses and are laid off?

f) Steering gear (including manual, autopilot, emergency change over arrangements and rudder indicators.

g) Rudder angle indicators.

h) Radars set up tuned for operation.

i) Magnetic, gyrocompasses, and repeaters synchronised.

j) Ships whistle.

k) Navigation & signal lights and shapes.

l) Main engine & engine telegraphs tested and ready.

m) Window wipers / clear view screens.

n) Communication equipment, external and internal/engine room telephone tested

o) UHFs and GMDSS receiver tested

p) Passage Plan Prepared

q) Courtesy Flags hoisted/Ready.

r) Fire and General Alarm Operated.

s) Windlass and Mooring winches tried out.

t) Deck Lighting tested

e) Deck logbook / Oil record book updated.

h) Mooring station communication checked
