SEEDWAY MESSAGE TO CUSTOMERS 1-800-836-3710First & foremost - Thank You for your business.

We highly value your trust in our products & service! The focus of our longterm comprehensive product development & evaluation program is to bring the best products to the NORTHEAST & MID-ATLANTIC

market with the most regional supporting information we have. Whether its grain or silage, full trait, specific trait, conventional, organic, or NON GMO-chances are we have a product and supporting information to meet the needs of each acre you grow. In today’s tight farm economy the key to success is

choosing the right management tools. Every acre counts. And each seed selection is an important decision. When you are up against regional soil productivity differences, elevation changes, changing tillage/ herbicide systems, and necessary management choices; not every product fits every acre.

Not to mention all the differing end uses. Grain, silage, specialty - choosing seed carefully can pay significant year end dividends.

Seedway recommends corn growers consult the following detailed product presentation to select products based on end use. We have developed independent grain & silage product use guides. This guide focuses on profitable grain production.

Please consult Seedway District Sales Managers or a Seedway office foradditional product assistance. We plan for every Seedway acre to be the best it can be.

Does regional adaptation make a difference in grain hybrids? You bet it does... see our 2015 grain summary table. * Minimum 8 locations per maturity.

AGRONOMIC CHAR

• Conventional grain yield leader in testing at 90- 100 RM.• Medium stature with very good roots & adequate stalks.• Flowers medium for maturity with quick dry finish.• Profitable - grain dries in the field when others stop drying.• Adequate foliar blight resistance history, performing in the

presence of disease while showing light/ late symptoms. Grain fill has not been affected. Adequate test weight.

• Pest Tolerance - Very GoodShelling Ease - ExcellentEar Picking - Excellent

• Limitations - Conventional, without trait insectprotection.

• Management - Mainstream grain product for 90-95RMconventional acres. Strongest in first year corn andadequate second year corn selection for the rotation.

• Single trait Roundup Ready® Corn 2 similar in plant profile to SW 4704RR with more yield at lower moisture.

• Healthy, nice kernel depth & expansion, with good ear package.• Has moved north / south well, and adapted across locations. • Handled foliar and stalk Anthracnose in most recent two years.• A single trait RR option for the high crop residue acre.• Much better ear flex than most alternatives of the maturity with

special fit to low-medium yield environments. Yield history good in high yield locations, however SW 3854RR adapts to the full yield spectrum we encounter across the variable Northeast.

• Pest Tolerance - Very GoodShelling Ease - Very Good to ExcellentEar Picking - Very Good

• Limitations - No trait insect protection.

• Management - Versatile, all uses, adds genetic diversity to the farm cropping plan while fitting most rotation needs.

Nice structured refuge option.

Conventional Hybrid -No trait fees or refuge requirement

Producing a profitable high yielding crop requires a little moreattention to crop fertility than it used to.Most modern hybrids have the bred in ability to yield in the 150-200 BU / AC range for grain if they have adequate cropinputs. Then it takes some help from mother nature.

We can’t control weather, but we can control genetics and nutrient supply. Even higher yields than 150 BU/Ac are regularlyoccurring in the Northeast when management and weather favorably combine. This is not a one time fluke since the trendhas been underway for some time. So, consider getting out the pencil-calculator-computer. The following tables model cropneeds to guide crop fertility without wasting nutrients.

Grain Crop Nutrient RemovalState university data varies slightly. This general table demonstrates the key principles. It is not a set of recommendations. Each farm / field is different.

Each bushel of grain takes out the same amount of nutrients. More bushels, more total nutrient removal from the acre. Nutrients must be replenished to maintain future yields.

Native soil fertility (baseline soil test), cover crop, and prior crop credits should be accumulated to determine additional nutrients needed to be applied to reach the yield target.

One basic fertility program seldom fits every acre ! You can fine tune to farms / fields / even sections of fields to the degree you can manage. Precision agriculture equipment is and additional aid.

Contact SEEDWAY District Sales Managers or the SEEDWAY office at 1-800-836-3710 for additional information.

PLANTING SOYBEANS FOR VALUE AND PERFORMANCE(SEEDS PER FOOT)

CruiserMaxx® Beans with Vibrance® seed treatment, a combination of separately registered products, combines four active in-gredients to protect against a broad spectrum of damaging above- and below-ground insects, as well as all major seedborne andsoilborne diseases. In addition, CruiserMaxx Beans with Vibrance enhances crop performance through optimized root health andbest-in-class protection against Rhizoctonia. CruiserMaxx Beans with Vibrance is backed by extensive testing, use and provenperformance. CruiserMaxx Beans have consistently delivered increased yield potential for growers over the last 10 years on morethan 80 million acres, across environments.

Crop growth potential is enabled by early season vigor. There is a visible increase in bloom and fruit development. The active in-gredient performs well under a wide range of weather conditions. Benefits to the crop include greater density, height, root length, stem diameter, number of leaves per plant and higher yield. Most of these benefits are generated by protecting the crop for thefirst 30 to 40 days during stand establishment.

CruiserMaxx® has minimal impact on non-target organisms because it is present only on the seed surface and inside the plant. It is very safe for users and the environment.

CruiserMaxx® boosts plant development by inducing biosynthesis of specific proteins that defend plants against stress. Plantsneed less energy to protect themselves and invest more in healthy growth.

Conservation Science GeneticsTM is a progressive cover crop program developed to benefitgrowers by providing seed of individual species and mixtures that are high quality, profes-sionally tested and legally tagged. These mixtures of grass and legume species provide thepotential for increased crop yields, disruption of disease & pest cycles, reduced soil ero-sion, increased water infiltration and nutrient recycling. In addition to the soil benefits thatcover crops provide, many species provide opportunities for grazing, haying or ensiling anutritious forage crop.
