The KIP 2200 is a high resolution, high speed scanner that provides

enhanced monochrome imaging and world-class color scan quality

from a single unit. The KIP 2200 mono/color scanner provides high

demand users with the highest standards of image quality,

versatility and rugged construction. Fully integrated with all HDP

KIP printers and wide format inkjet printers, the KIP 2200 scan

system provides a full suite of state of the art software for color and

monochrome copying and scan-to-file operations.

MONOCHROME/COLOR IMAGING

The KIP 2200 Scanner can scan-to-file and copy in either

monochrome or full color to satisfy all application needs.

IMAGE QUALITY

True 600 dpi optical resolution is the key to the KIP 2200

Scanner's outstanding imaging capabilities. In addition, the KIP

2200 Scanner takes full advantage of patented RTT (Real Time

Thresholding) and self calibrating imaging cameras to ensure high

quality results.

SPEED

The KIP 2200 Scanner automatically adjusts scan speed based on

desired image resolution. Monochrome scan speeds range from

3.2 ips @ 600 dpi to 9.6 ips @ 200 dpi. Color scan speeds range

from 1.4 ips @ 600 dpi to 3.4 ips @ 200 dpi.

MULTIPLE PRINTER SUPPORT

The KIP 2200 Scanner is integrated with all KIP Digital printers. In

addition KIP color software produces color or monochrome copies

to inkjet printers.

GRAYSCALE MODE

Gray mode is a function of color scanning designed for

applications involving grayscale photographs, maps and graphical

data. This mode captures the full range of 8-bit grayscale data, with

no image drop-out or down sampling. Gray mode may also be

used for making accurate copies of black and white photos to

inkjet printers.

COLOR MODE

Professional grade, 24-bit imaging mode provides high quality

photo and graphic reproduction for any application. Create high

resolution copies to color inkjet printers, or scan complex detailed

color originals to file.

This software provides the ability to make a single copy of a wide

format color and monochrome original to one inkjet printer or any

KIP digital printer. In addition, this software provides the ability to

scan-to-file on the network of host PC. This software is included

with all KIP 2200 scanners.

KIP COLOR MAX

This professional grade optional software package provides

advanced copy and scan-to-file features and also includes the

ability to RIP files to print. Operators may print in color or

monochrome to multiple printers to ensure speed, flexibility and

production of high-quality color matched copies. KIP Color Max

software provides advanced color management features, image

editing capabilities, paneling of images for outdoor graphics,

KIP ADF 300 The KIP Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) provides unmanned original feeding for batch

scanning operations. The ADF 300 Is capable of efficiently feeding up to 250 ‘D’ or 100 ‘E’ size prints

of bond or vellum and is compatible with all KIP scanners.

KIP Scanner Stand Holds a PC for scan-to-file capabilities, as well as the KIP scanner. Options include PC bracket and

monitor arm, and original holding tray.

KIP Controller Stand The controller stand is used for single footprint STF system configurations. This stand accommodates

the controller, monitor, keyboard and mouse. This stand also includes a small shelf for placing

manuals, documentation, etc.
