For safety reasons, only authorized DeutscheMesse staff is permitted to disconnect utility servicesto stands. Priority certificates During the show exhibitors can apply for a prioritycertificate for registered designs, utility models andtrademarks for their products displayed at the event. Theexhibitor then has the opportunity to apply for certainintellectual property rights within 6 months after the show.The issue date of the priority certificate will be accepted asthe application date by the German patent and trademarkoffice, thus ensuring a time lead over counterfeiters.Please note that in Germany, priority certificates do notapply to patent applications. Removal of goods after theshow

Removal vehicles will be directed by traffic wardens to aspecified marshaling area for interim parking, subject toa charge. Signs marked "LKW" (German abbreviation for"trucks") are posted along all approach routes, showingdrivers where to go. Transport vehicles will be grantedentry to the exhibition grounds as of 9 p.m. on the final dayof the show. Please contact your own haulage contractorwell in advance of the dismantling date to arrange forthe removal work and the supply of fork lifts and othertransport equipment.

Vehicle access On the last day of stand construction (May 19), entry to theexhibition grounds is restricted as follows: Vehicles weighing 3.5 tons or less (i.e. cars with or withouttrailers, vans, mini-vans, etc.) may enter the grounds for upto three hours upon payment of a refundable deposit of €100. Trucks weight 3.5 tons or more are permitted to enter thegrounds throughout the entire construction and dismantlingperiods. The exhibition grounds and its parking facilities are privateproperty, and the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO- "Straßenverkehrsordnung") apply.
